SEIKO Prospex Yellow Fin Tuna SRP639K $479 (Was $860) in-Store @ Angus & Coote

130

I saw this watch on sale in the Canberra Center Angus & Coote but didn't realise what a deal it was. The website does NOT show the price, but if you go to ANY Angus & Coote you can have then transfer the watch to your store from whoever has stock left. There are other discounted models too.

These discounts are on end of model stock and there wont be a lot of them.

  • 200m Water Resistant
  • Analogue
  • Automatic
  • Hardlex Glass
  • One-way rotating bezel
  • Stainless Steel

Yes… I now have it being transferred to my local store…

WHAT ,so you get a free tin of tuna with this .

It's about the same size as tin of tuna on wrist. Just a bit better presence… and it tells the time ;)

      Is that you, jv?

Anyone who's considering a Seiko diver should look into steeldive. Just received mine and they do Seiko better than Seiko.

      Misalignments?

      • Nope, that's why I rate it over Seiko's divers. They also gave me an extra strap than I ordered, and a strap tool.

    • did you buy it off aliexpress or their website directly?

      • Have you checked out San Martin, they apparently (YouTube videos) are amazing quality.

I also heard Heimdallr are quite good, considering one of their new Frost Monsters.

      • I reckon one of their bronze tunas will be in my collection soon. The shark logo looks pretty cool

I was going to get my 1970/ 6105 by Heimdallr but I wasn't too keen of the tiny text down the bottom of the dial.

  • Do you know if there are any deals on this one? https://www.anguscoote.com.au/mens/watches/seiko-presage-aut…

  • Is there something special about this colour combo?
Otherwise starbuy have them much cheaper - https://starbuy.com.au/search.php?search_query=tuna&section=…

In any event, I am sure you could get even better "clearance" prices for those items that have been sitting in-store for so long that head office decide to discontinue them. Eg. I saw a TW Steel for $129 on clearance.

The one in OP is auto, the sub-$400 ones on Starbuy are solar.
Cheapest auto tuna on Starbuy starts at $559.

Not saying auto is better than solar, just pointing out the different movements.

      • Ah, yes. I see what you mean.
So is Seiko discontinuing the Tuna range?
I don't even know if I like the look of them :)

        • Not that I've heard, but their price is going up and this model is no longer made. It looks cool and is somewhat sort after. Plus there are others that are cheap too. I got an orange samurai for $350.
