ASROCK B550 Phantom Gaming-ITX/ax Motherboard $189 Delivered @ PCByte

230

Found this on sale while looking for a motherboard that supported USB-C front header. Seems to be around $100 cheaper than any other current offerings for a decent B550i (which I have no idea on why it's still priced in the same ballpark as X570i boards).

Ticks all the boxes for me:

  • 8 Phase 90A VRMs with strong cooling
  • Supports 2x M.2 Drives
  • Gen 4.0 PCIe Support
  • 3 Fan Headers
  • No whiny little fan on the heatsink
  • USB-C Front Header
  • 10GHz USB-C Port (over the inferior 5GHz found in most B550i boards)

+1.0% fee for PayPal and Zip Pay which effectively brings the price to $190.91 unless you wanted to pay via bank transfer.

Hope this can help someone out.

Not much reason to x570 for itx

I assume due to negligible need to have dual PCIE Gen 4 slots?

It's an older board. Doesn't have front usb-c header, the lack of second m2 slot is a deal breaker when building sff pcs too.

Great price…I bought one of these for $279 a few months back and it’s been solid with my 5600x.
