Contact details - If you can't find the business address or contact number of the business you have purchased boots from, who will help you with customer issues.
There are so many sheepskin boots out there claiming to be 100% Australian Made. How can you tell one authentic boot from the rest?
What to ask your retailer when buying your sheepskin products.
Where are your skins from?
Where are they processed?
Are the boots hand cut, hand stitched, hand glued in Australia?
Ask for the address of manufacturer and tannery. There should be no reason why your retailer cannot provide you with details of the origin of your boots.
All Ugg Australia® products are 100% Australian made at our factory and ecologically processed at our Roman Tannery in Laverton North, Melbourne.

  • Got a pair. Good on you guys.

  • I get about 2 years per pair. I've ordered from this seller maybe 2 or 3 times now, always same quality. No issues with wool or build. Solid sole.

Weighing up whether to buy another pair or keep current pair for a 3rd year.

  • Read about legal war on the name UGG … OP i hope you can use this name as its a generic name which someone is trying to trademark in US. Such a shamefull attitude by money hungry people.

Such a shamefull attitude by money hungry people.

      Sums up capitalism

  • How do these compare to umu Australian made ugg boots for $20

  • Have these all gone as the links are Back to $89?

    • we still have some you need to use the code OZBSLIP at checkout

  • Got a pair. Thanks.

  • +1

I have had this brand before, but defiantly prefer the Original Uggs from UGG Since 1974.

  • Brought another pair, Thanks OP C:

  • Beware people this is NOT the original UGG boots, this company is owned by a greedy american company named Deckers.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UGG_(brand)

When you have to have the word "australia" in the website you know its full of sheep s***

    • +1

Why "Beware". They are Skuffs, made of sheepskin, warm and comfie and at a reasonable price and made in Australia.
As for this companies ABN of 57 006 310 256 which is registered to UGG AUSTRALIA PTY LTD Vic 3026 says to me that they are who they say they are.

Having said that, whether they are as they Advertise on their Website "Ugg Australia® was established in 1981, we have been proudly crafting an Australian icon for almost 4 decades" is hard to know.

Regardless, $36 a pair isn't too bad. They are neither brilliant quality nor bad.

      • It's a principle thing.
"UGG boots" was an Australian generic term and Deckers came in to trademark this for profit, not to mention they sued Australian owners who sold UGG boots for millions of dollars. I'd rather spend a bit more knowing my money is going to an Australian owned business rather than supporting a business that masquerades in Australia while being American owned.

        • But the business still employs Australians i.e. Australian Made and Australian wool etc? Far better than most products we buy which are imported.

          • -1

@Borg: Yes perhaps, however because of Deckers owning the trademark no one but them can sell "ugg boots" internationally.
I don't want to support such a company.

  • Should have read the comments here before i ordered, sounds like i should have gone for a size bigger :(

I emailed customer service straight away to amend order but received no response, got a shipping notification today hopefully the size is ok

    • I thought the same and felt mine might be a tad small. I kept them as length wise they were fine. They do stretch out an bit & wool flattens. Regardless, they do offer exchange and one free ship back if needed.

  • +2

Any updates on shipping @UggAustraliaOfficial ?

    • Same. My order status states "unfulfilled"

  • Hi OP, my order was placed on May 18th and received notification of despatch on May 19th with delivery expected on May 24th. I was notified by Australia Post on May 25th that the delivery was delayed. I have since not received any updates on the parcel through Aus Post tracking. I contacted [email protected] on June 3rd and have not heard anything back. I would like someone to follow this up for me please as the lack of correspondence is leaving me with very little confidence in your company. I can provide my order and tracking numbers via dm if you like. Let me know what you can do.
    Many thanks

    • Can you please write an email to : [email protected]

Please inform order number and the issue, someone will get back to you.. apologies for the delay

      • Hi, I have sent an email. I would appreciate timely correspondence about this. Thank you.

        • Have you contacted Australia Post again?

          Have they lost your parcel??

It’s a public holiday in Victoria , work returns Tuesday..

  • FWIW
Quality is disappointing but I guess okay for around 30 bucks for two winters. Fast fashion.
Quality issues as per other user experiences. Wool coming off. Has a plastic & slippery base - lacks grip. Fabric seams around foot entrance peeling. Infrequently used. 3 times a week during cooler periods in Sydney.
Tried messaging a few times with no response so I assume customer post-purchase service is non-existent.

  • I bought a pair back in May 2019 and after daily use are due for replacement, perfect timing! Have just ordered another pair. Excellent value, thanks!

  • Thank you for supporting Australian manufacturing!
