    Excuse my ignorance, but how do these differ from a usual pair of thongs? These things seem to be normally about $30, they look identical to any Australian pair of thongs to me

      they differ and are more expensive because they have a brand on them.

      There are other durable and soft thongs out there for under ten bucks.
