Went to kathmandu store in Chatswood and found these chairs for $25. I bought 2 of them. Great quality, this one will last at least 10 years!
They have heaps of clearance items, check their website for more good quality stuff. If you can't make it to a Kathmandu store, they are also offering free delivery!

Looks the same as the one I bought from Bunnings some time ago for $9. Perhaps, made in the same factory and priced differently?

    • Noooo.. You must be confused.

      This one is from Kathmandu.

      • Oh so it has a different label or tag on it….i get it now! Thanks

  • "Great quality, this one will last at least 10 years!" & "check their website for more good quality stuff" - strange, I have found poor quality whenever I bought from Kathmandu! Stitching on clothes & packs repeatedly failed. Is this a different Kathmandu??? LOL

    • i agree, i found their products of poor quality as well, bought a hiking tent (life-time warranty) 2 yrs later water-proof coating on inside of fly coming off and seam sealing tape on inside of fly coming off too. the say this is not covered by warranty !!!

    • I bought a travel tripod from Kathmandu and it broke on my first day overseas. Not exactly robust.

  • How about this chair, it has a different model but cheaper

    Load capacity 100kg :(.
Most good quality chairs have a much higher weight limit.
Even the $5 Wonder Chair from Big W had a 120kg limit.
This isnt necessaryily to say that if you arent a 'fatty' it doesnt matter, because it gives you a good idea on durability.

No way this Kathmandu chair is lasting "at least 10 years".

Wont neg it because I havent seen it in person, but doesnt impress me thus far.
