      I think, and I maybe wrong, that it's for people who use the computer in the dark (e.g. their room light is off)

        That's me. I like dark. This light would a) make it light, and b) cause unwanted reflections. Perhaps I'm odd. I'll look into it:)

          Not alone. I prefer a backlit monitor and keyboard for a little subtle lighting.

          I think I'd find it distracting having one of these hanging off the top of my monitor. This looks bulky as at the back too, though 5th pic appears to be a different product. Shouldn't need to be any bigger than that one.

        On aliexpress, you can get adalight lights, which is having led strips on the back of your tv monitor and a small, adreno module that will copy the colours of your screen and illuminate behing your screen.

        Sometimes call ambilight. And some of the more expensive light bars have a similar feature (just single or double colour) for a backlight.

    nah, wait for Xiaomi Mijia. I upgraded from Baseus after a month of usage.

    best decision ever. no glare, bluetooth controller is comfortable and easy to use. lots of customisation option and the light source is more concentrated too.

    i got it from banggood for 55 AUD iirc.

    horrible shipping times from CN warehouse. if you dont chase up with online chat, you will never know shipment is delayed. purchased the xiaomi, had to cancel and get a refund only after I asked whats happening with the ship-out.
