If you proceed to the next stage, it will remove the handling fee.

      • Yeah - just noticed when you click through it doesn’t add the handling fee

  • You'll need to disable your VPN if your unable to access the Ticketek web site.

Arent public gatherings limited to 30 effective today?

    • +5

Public gatherings limited, but nightclubs still allowed to operate. Crazy logic.

      • Not really crazy when every outbreak is linked to families visiting across households

        • +7

I guess families will just have to start meeting at nightclubs.

          • @henrus: I’ll tell my 90 year old grandma to “get on da beers” first

Well one of the bars in Prahran just had a positive case.

And it's a small indoor bar. Busy Saturday night as well.

          • @plasmoske: Yes but they didnt pick up the case in the bar or clubs - The next 24/48 hours will be telling to see if they have spread it to others in those venues

            • @TightTerry: But they brought it with them to the club.

              • @bargainluvr: Of course but the argument is that clubs and bars are breeding grounds. Nothing, as yet has been transferred in bars and clubs - we need to wait for test results

                • +2

@TightTerry: Of course… I mean Bars and clubs are far less likely to create an environment where COVID can spread compared to say a cafe, bottle shop or Thai restaurant right?

Or is it possible that most bars and clubs were closed for the bulk of time that COVID has been around, hence we haven't had any major outbreaks from these sort of environments?

LOL Circus nightclub from 1am-4am - definitely the exact time of the night that patrons are the most COVID-Safe.

          • +1

@plasmoske: Not sure why the downvote.
Not everyone is sensible enough to not go to pubs/bars/public events when they have symptoms.
Surely this is just a relevant and timely reminder to social distance in public at all times where possible.

            • +1

@bargainluvr: People are just downvoting because they don't want it to be true.

    • No, "public gathering" (or private gathering) implies a group of people who know each other, and are not socially distancing. This is different to an audience, who would be socially distancing.

      • cool, so sports events, concerts etc are still operating as normal?

  • thank you very much, booked 4 for the family :)

  • Thanks OP

Went there last Sat. Congrats to Melbourne City!
Both teams were playing great! I enjoyed the match.
But the referee was a joke…
A goal + another penalty decision were overturned only after seeking help from Video assistant.
    They need better training asap…
