Just saw this in my Amazon account. Not sure if targeted so maybe comment if it works for you or not. I have Prime and am a frequent Amazon purchaser on Visa if that matters.

Basically just need to save your debit card, Amex, Mastercard, Zip account, or Union Pay card as your default payment method, and you get a $10 Amazon AU gift card ($20 for Prime members). Can also do it by making a minimum $40 purchase on one of those payment types.

Gift card should be provided/applied to account within 30 days. Have only just done it myself so haven't received the gift card as yet.

I can't get any of the T&C links to open, so can't give much more info at this stage.

Damn, sorry gang, was hoping it would work for others as well. FWIW keep an eye out for a blue box in the centre of the screen near the top which says "Get a $10 or $20 gift card" or something like that.

It's all good, thanks for posting anyways OP. That's the whole spirit of OzB.

  • I'm not sure if it worked for me but I clicked through the link and removed an expired card then added the newer version of it. Hoping that will work, but no notification yet?

  • I clicked through and got the following message with a picture like the thumbnail in the OP link.

I’ve changed the default payment details but I’ve no reason to think it’s worked other than that I didn’t get a message saying I wasn’t able to take up this offer like others above got.

    • I had that too on mobile then I viewed as desktop mode and showed offer not available

      • I tried through desktop and got the exact same.

        • Same here

Would be nice if it gave you any sort of confirmation if it worked..

  • yay it worked!!

    Thanks Op!

    • Did you get confirmation?

      • No are you supposed to?

        • From my experience sometimes you need to contact customer service after a while to claim your promotion. Prepare screen shots as proof just in case.

          • @Ziggy28: Good idea, if you haven't saved a screen shot, I've found cutting and pasting written terms found on ozbargain works too.

Only 35,000. Started May 24th. Almost certainly all gone by now I would think.

  • Thanks, my account is eligible

  • anyone received their gift card yet? it started on 24/5, and WITHIN 30days, i think someone may already received it?
just want to check people received gift card by just save a new credit card.

    • Haven't received anything yet, guess I have to contact Amazon customer support soon

      • They will probably give you $20 straight away.

        • Did you receive directly from Amazon? Or did you have to contact customer support ?

          • +1

@Ziggy28: no gift card, i just talk them and show them the promo detail, they give me $20. that's all .

  • I got it on 1 of my prime ac's out of 2 : Add and use a qualifying payment method
Add your debit card, Amex, Mastercard, Zip account, or Union Pay card, use it to pay for your purchase (minimum $40), and get a $10 Gift Card. Prime members get a $20 Gift Card.

Save a qualifying payment method as default
Save your debit card, Amex, Mastercard, Zip account, or Union Pay card as default, and get a $10 Gift Card.
Prime members get a $20 Gift Card.

I'm not sure why this isn't getting more upvotes as my understanding is you will get 2 X $20 gift cards for spending $40 + .

BTW clear my AMZ credits to make sure a pure payment of the new method added .

    • How long took them to sent your credit. I don't know it could double dip to get 40, that's amazing

      • Not sure if they will give 2 x $20 as in terms and conditions it says - “The maximum benefit a customer may receive from this offer is $20.”

        • i do think 20/account is the deal. no 40

    • How do you know you got it?
Did you get an email confirmation?

  • That's strange, mine is $10 (The T&C says $15) for non-prime and $25 for Prime Member starting 7 June 2021.

    • maybe that's a new promo? not too many join this promo and they just increase the giftcard.

  • thanks I'm eligible. Strange that they do not tell or confirm if all was successful to generate the gift card. Has anyone gotten a confirmation yet?

  • Sorry. This offer is not available to you at this time.
Looking for low prices? Discover new deals everyday.

  • I assume adding a VISA debit card still counts right? Or are they wanting and old skool EFTPOS card?
