  • If we constantly subscribe just to get the lower price and then promptly cancel the subscription right after that, I just wonder if there are any consequences to your Amazon account such as you will never able to subscribe again?

    • +5

Not until they state it clearly on their terms and conditions.

    • +3

no, I imagine they make more than enough money from people forgetting to cancel and not bothering to return it to nudge Bezos' net worth up a bit

    • +2

No I do it regularly. I think I had 4-5 subscriptions for nappies at one point, just kept either delaying them or cancelling.

      • +2

I'm doing this, but scared I'll forget and receive 2x size 4, 5 and 6 all at once

        • +1

Had that happen once, ended up with 2x nappies and 2x 36 diet cokes. Now I just cancel them as soon as they're delivered.

    • +3

No. When you cancel and they ask you why, there's an option "I only wanted initial discount", so it's kind of common reason for cancellation.

      • +5

        "I only wanted initial discount"

that's how they keep track of sales from ozbargainers ;)

    • Always doing s&s and cancel after a while. Never had consequences. I think they still make a lot of money, because at the end of the day they sold.

    Yay more plastic.

    • +1

These are/can be useful, esp the small ones as wallets when exercising

Would you say cling wraps are somewhat better for say the school sandwhich?
beeswax cloth/warps are ideal in theory but boy it sucks when they don't come back

      • +2

There are flat sandwich-sized lunchboxes like this one. Also plastic, but forever reusable, easy to clean and dry, dishwasher friendly, and probably better for the environment in the long run.

  • I thought subscribe and save only locks you in first the first one. Subsequently is at price at the time of sending isn't it?

    • Correct. You're only guaranteed the discount price for the first shipment.

Not worth leaving the subscription active thereafter.

      • Thought so ta

    • This is news to me, time to cancel all my SS, I thought it was locked to the original price you paid

      • Hehe yeah better cancel them

  • Is this cheaper than Aldi's zip lock range?

    • +2

      Probably.
They're slightly more expensive that the Woolworths ones in the sandwich size.

      Ziplock - 3.38c per bag
Woolworths Armada - 3.07c per bag

    • I'm mean probably not*
Worth a shot given the discount though.

  • +1

how does this compare to ikea ones quality wise?

    • If you Google the product range and look at reviews, people complain they are quite thin. The Ikea ones are good.

  • Damn the freezer bags OOS.
