So does an orange, Vitamin C. Broader claim is unsubstantiated.

        (Reduces acidity in the body)
So does breathing, Bohr effect. Common pseudo scientific claim.

        (Cleanses the liver from toxins)
Liver is supposed to have toxins, that is its job.

(Fights free radicals to prevent disease)
Complete lie, they have not done studies to show this product prevents disease.

(Getting your daily dose of greens has never been easier!)
Not true, this is not the first product that does the same thing.

Getting your daily dose of greens - how to do it easier and cheaper

Buy pack frozen spinach (250g - $1 at Woolies)
Nuke in microwave for 2 mins
    Add to blender
Add a splash of your favourite fruit juice (I use apple & mango)
    Whizz
Abracadabra - a tasty green drink with 3 generous serves of greens in less than 3 mins.

Vary by using any frozen or fresh vegies. I alternate with green beans, broccoli and spinach. Also, can use chicken or beef stock to make a savoury green drink.

For $1 - $2 a day you'll get more healthy vegies than the majority of people.

      Good recipe. Mine is:
Buy pre-washed salad leaves. Take some out of packet. Shove into mouth. Repeat.

No cooking, no dressing, nothing. Generally taken with a meal.

I also don't need to add flavours to water to make it drinkable.

Yup, I only used to do the drink thing on an ad-hoc basis and ate most of my veges.

Unfortunately, I'm now on liquids only diet. Can only tolerate very small quantities of solid food. So need to be inventive.

Frozen veges are actually as good if not more nutritious than fresh in many cases. The time from field to supermarket for fresh greens is scary, then they can sit on the shelf for a while. They've lost a lot of nutrients by the time they get to your fridge. And it's certainly a lot more convenient. I haven't thrown away any old, sad veges since I went to frozen.

    frozen spinach

Make sure it's Aussie spinach; NZ can be back door for elsewhere.

    •

Very good point. I should have said this. It's a very sneaky trick, the re-packaging.

Doesn’t work anyway. After using different email addresses to claim samples it’s always messaging always subscribed to list. Seems to me that they only want to collect personal data and maybe sell. SCAM!
