  • How are these powered and does it write back to a NAS?

    • +1

looks like it's the consumer brand of hikvision.
      https://www.ezvizlife.com/product/c8c/30208

powered by 12v .. no poe

cloud or sd card storage only.

don't know if it support onvif or rtsp.

in any case, night vision sucks: Minimum Illumination 0.5 Lux @(F1.6, AGC ON), 0 Lux with IR..

      • Thanks for the response, probably not for me then if I cant write it back to local storage for events

      • they usually do support onvif/rtsp but they either require their own app to enable it, and the app wants registration email, etc (but sometime it can be skipped), or they do have web interface which … only works with old ms internet explorer as it installs an activex, I run windows7 virtual machine just for that reason. and they all want to push videos to some chinese cloud, and when I block them internet access - it takes longer than usual for the camera to boot and stream locally. I am still looking for a decent 50$ camera with friendly web interface + onvif…

  • They have not mentioned any charges or storage capacity of Cloud Storage on their WHOLE website.

    I HATE such sneaky companies.
