  • Sorry if this is a dumb question but… can you make hot tea in this?

      These are also used for cold brews and don't recommend you pouring boiling hot water (have to come off boil some what). But yeah, its just a plastic jug, you can use for hot if you want.

      You can pour freshly boiling hot water into the jug and have no issues or concerns of this thing warping.
      After pouring in the hot water screw the lid on BUT leave a gap to ensure it can vent the excess steam otherwise you will pressurise the jug.
      Depending on what you are brewing remove the infuser from the lid (after recommend brew time) and then screw the lid back on then place in the fridge to cooldown.

      Or if you like it hot, pour into cup and enjoy.

      I have 2x of these and have no issues with either of them for over 2+ years with regularly teas being brewed every few weeks.
