    Can these also be operated in the traditional way by a dimmer installed on wall. Remotes get lost too often in my house and the wife is just not into smart stuff.

        Weird! I received mine a couple days ago and it is the regular version. Actually, I bought two and just opened one. I'll check the other one tonight. It's pretty weak that they can't tell us which version we will receive.

        Can you see the stars all the time? Annoying?

        I'm very impressed with how easy it was to install and set up.

          My mistake! I bought the 450! So the 450 is the regular white and the 480 is the starry version.
