          It's quicker to pick up a keyboard and type right away as opposed to picking up my phone, turning it on and unlocking it, running the keyboard app, wait for it to connect, then type..

    Many don't include the lithium battery, this one does so it's a good deal. Best I could find when I needed a replacement last month was $12.40

    A tip: You are not limited to 3 background colours (red/green/blue), you can get more colours by holding Function key and tapping along the base of the touchpad for white, yellow, purple etc. I prefer the white light background. And if you hold F2 when backlight is on and swipe the base of the touchpad, it will enter RGB mode and smoothly change through all the colours. Lots of youtube videos showing how to do this. Not a big deal but I prefer a soft white light background to the distracting bright defaults.

    These an upgrade over the previous version of these rii kb's or mainly just backlighting?

    Also do they have the same prob of random keyboard layout assignment in win10, where its roulette if the keyboard layout matches what's printed on the actual kb.
    Had 2 of the prev version both were extra fun trying to find a layout that matches?
    No issue on other devices like Android etc but windows had issues with each 1 on multiple machines :(

      I have this newer version, the keys all match up fine for me on Windows 10 and Windows 7, no special driver installed, so I assume it's been resolved.

      You should be able to just plug the usb receiver into the TV, assuming the TV supports USB keyboards.

      That's going to be one of my intended uses. When doing a new install or running diags I really only need to click next or press a few keys most of the time.

      USB Bluetooth adaptors are pretty cheap. You most likely have one lying around the house from wireless mice etc
