    The Article you linked says Sidewalk "is currently only available in the US." Which is the only feature that shares internet bandwidth. And is completely separate to Amazon Aus accounts & devices, for the time being as it’s still in early stages.

    It’s America only, we don’t have Amazon Sidewalk yet which is what that relates to.

    Good to keep an eye out for the future though

  I dont have any amazon firestick what can they do? Yes im prime with amazon so obviously i get to use that on stick bit has it limited use on what's on it or what can be used?
  Does this have some apps installed on it like youtube?

  And is this deal only for echo dot and fire stick or can it be two fire sticks?
  And if two fire sticks what code is it to use?

  I'm trying to figure if the stick are any good or has limited use.

    Major ones that's not on it is Binge and Kayo.

    If your not in a hurry then i suggest you wait until prime day and see what is on offer then https://www.amazon.com.au/primeday

    you can side load an apk file if amazon don't have what you want apart from that it does what it says and isn't a slow piece of junk
    suits my needs plug and play with its own remote.

  I have the Firestick Lite because I have an older tv from 2008.

  Pretty good that I can access pretty much every app as well as use Bluetooth via the Firestick. I modded mine and installed Kodi with a Venom add-on

  Ordered the 2 x 4k as well for my father-in-law and brother-in-law

      Depends on the tv.
      Most of my tvs usb ports run my hacked Fire stick.
      I even use 1 in the car attached to the rooftop dvd player for the kids and the usb port of the dvd player runs it fine.
      I do have a 24" soniq tv in 1 room that doesn't run it but the 42" version of the soniq in another room does

      Yeah mine is an old Samsung LN46A750. Planning to join the masses and eventually upgrade but haven't had any issues except that it's not 4k and missing most of the conveniences of a modern tv.

    No. But you can install by side loading. But it's not easy. You need install all the google services etc. first.

  What is the OS on Firestick? Is it android and can you install custom .apk's?

  I have google home mini and hate it. Hope Amazon echo dot is better than mini.

    Yeah it's Android. Just like on the phone, there's a Developer Mode where you can install apps from unknown sources.

    I mainly have all apk's not supported by Amazon's app store.

    Side Note:
    - Alexa sometimes works with the non-supported apk's
    - You need Real-Debrid to run the Venom add-on but there's plenty of other add-ons and Kodi builds
