  • +1

officeworks and Amazon has matched the price.

  • +4

$25 off with latitude pay too

  • New model coming?

    • +5

Versa 3 is already out. Major change is GPS tracking, voice assistance and better overall fitness tracking.

  • +3

No inbuilt GPS, for those interested. Better off with a Charge 4, which does have inbuilt GPS.

  • How can I tell its only for today? Just curious myself. Thanks!

    • +10

Wait until tomorrow and when the price is different it will confirm your query.

    • +1

      Niiiice.

    • how to pay through latitude pay? does the checkout give an option?

  • +2

I am getting Free Express Delivery.

    • I don't get the option for free delivery. Any idea why?

      • +1

Probably just a Victoria thing, as we're locked down

  • +2

Good price. This goes for $199 from time to time. It's a nice looking step up if you're using a charge 2/3 etc. There's a bloke on here who has a bad experience with their tracking and might chime in. Mrs has had it since xmas, no issues.

  • +8

Price is tempting but . . sworn off fitbit devices after having 3 fail on us
Now Google owns I might be tempted back in future but wait to see the track record first

    • +4

This. Every single one I've owned has either fallen to pieces or simply failed. They kept sending me half-price replacements so I went through quite a few models over the years.

I'm done with Fitbit. Got a Garmin instead and couldn't be happier.

      • I moved to Garmin also and have an issue with steps not saving to my account. Activity is all there in my calendar but step count although clearly being counted for the day do not get saved for the day.
From a google search it might be a corrupt file I need to somehow try to fix.

Absolutely sick of fitness watches, every one I've ever bought has issues.

        • Have a look at MyZone products, like the MyZone Switch band. They are chest straps that can also be used as a watch.

I find they compliment my smart watch nicely, which is crap at fitness tracking.

edit the MyZone doesn't measure steps, so this won't help you :(

      • fallen to pieces or simply failed

Same with my Fitbit Charge but that is due to integrated band. As this has replaceable straps I am hoping the battery doesn't fail. My Charge battery hasn't failed it is the integrated strap and glue that is stuffed.

    • +1

My fitbit Charge 3 worked well but eventually the display stopped turning on sometimes and the band broke too. And by eventually I mean only a few months after I bought it.

    • +2

Google owning them is a reason you would be tempted back!?
Doesn’t it make you uncomfortable that the biggest data harvesters would have access to info like when you are browsing and something raises your heart rate they know it’s had an effect on you? And when you’ve had a bad sleep you’re more susceptible to influence? A well placed food ad when you’re hungry post workout?

      • +6

I don't think Google would really want to know the websites I'm browsing when my heart rate is elevated. Giggity…

        • +2

          ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

      • I understand that you and others may have this concern
However, as the owner of an Android phone etc. I feel they have my number already
I will sacrifice my data for a product that is well made, actually works, and lasts as it should

    • For Versa 1, officeworks replaced faulty unit after 21 months. So don't buy from Amazon buy from brick stores if it is possible.

      • Remind Amazon about your consumer rights and they'll replace it.

  • +1

Can this watch do offline Spotify music?

  • how durable compared to a casio dw-5600? would this survive warehouse labour? my casio is perfect but want something with a few more features

  • Thanks Draco!
No idea why Free express delivery but it's good!

I spent a few minutes to buy suncorp $100 gift card, I seldom buy at jb so don't want to keep balance. (5% off) so finally less $136.55 in my wallet.

  • Built in Amazon Alexa.

    Nope.

  • Was keeping an eye out on Inspire if it gets reduced. Had a charge that died (integrated band disintegrated). Making do with Xiaomi Band 5.

Get this. For $140 with 2 years warranty worth a try. Plus replaceable strap.

  • +1

Would this be $121 with afterpay deal and 5% off code?

    • +1

      yes.

    • See my comment at the end of this thread.

  • -4

You can easily get a used fitbit versa on gumtree for really cheap, like $60 to $80

  • Would never ever get a Fitbit especially the Versa range…. Yeah good customer service and replacement and 2 year warranty, however with the inconveniences it's caused in real life I would not even bother.

  • If only this price for Withings Scanwatch.

  • How long does battery realistically last on a charge?

    • Mine lasts about 4-5 days. Been using since late last year. Bought on Amazon for $149

    • +2

I always had "always-on" display switched on and needed to charge it every 2-3 days

      • Lasts 5-6 days. I have the dim setting on and "always on" setting switched off.

  • My wife had one of these and the glass simply falls out of the watch. Found a website where there were hundreds of people complaining about it. Seems a common issue.

  • +1

Junk, I repeat, junk! Do not buy. Literally do not buy any Fitbit product until Google takes over the reigns from the company in totality (including making their own devices using the Fitbit name). As it stands there are massive quality control and everyday use issues.
