    If you wanted to learn to play piano, probably not - need space for both hands, one high, one low. There is cheaper options if you don't need the MIDI functions and all that jazz.

      thanks! im actually just wanting to make some lofi tunes for fun and mess around with different sounds. Do you think this will do it?

        Yeah if you didn't want to do 'proper keyboard/piano' stuff with chords and melodies, just wanted to do melodies, I think you could make it work

        Note this doesn't produce any sound on its own. Needs to be plugged in to a computer (or iPad etc) and used with speakers or headphones and software (sounds like it includes some software to get you started though).

    You don't actually need to learn to play the piano these days. Basic maths knowledge will be sufficient, and the computers will do the rest.
    This is a nice keyboard to record some musical phrases, or play along with the track if you are DJing. Basically it is yet another MIDI controller.
