The kit lens does not seem to have good review.

Compare to $3169 from below deal is still pricy for the body itself.

Thanks! Not after the R6, but just checked the site and the R5 is on sale too. Think it's the best price for the R5 anywhere at the moment.

Too bad the JB sale is over though.

Yes the lens 24-105mm F/4-7.1 is pretty useless and slow. If you can, find the best R6 body deal and get the 35mm F/1.8 STM lens instead. Works a lot better in low light.
