        20% off Futu Online has some really high prices. With 20% off some prices are above competition. For example 5950X is $1279.20 with discount, which is higher than PCCG with shipping or MSY with pickup.

    I dont really understand their marketing strategy. So confusing with many discount promotions and overlapping periods. Like they have multiple teams for different good categories and each team just do things on their own.

      Yes I agree. Some eBay Plus stuff is discounted, others not. Sometimes it happens within the same sellers items, even though it's above the purchase minimum price.
      I do like that eBay seems to have made it more obvious when an item has a discount code, even listing the discount code in the checkout page.

      Raise a case with ebay and they might even give you a voucher for the difference.

      This happened when I bought an 8TB HDD last year and they gave me a single use voucher of around $50.

    I've almost given up on ebay due to:
    Difficulty with establishing where something is actually going to be shipped from.
    Overseas sellers that make it practically impossible to return goods.
    Price jacking and artificial discounts.
    Our government forcing GST collection and overseas sellers giving up on supplying Australia.

    But thanks for the post, it's always helpful to know there's something going on.

        with the ebay app, it shows the PAPPSS2 code and says : Take AU $20.00 off this item. Only one item, it costs $399 Au. based on this, my item, that I want to buy is eligible… eiher the post is faulty or Ebay doesn't now their promo.

        At the checkout, it gives $20 discount

    Anyone else getting "Looks like that's the wrong code. Please double-check and try again" the code entered is correct and have no idea why that is appearing… entered via the iOS App.
    Item is over $100.
    Tried "PPSS100" but same thing.

    Through a browser it says "This code can't be applied. You can only use it via: eBay app for iPhone, eBay app for iPad, eBay app for Android." which makes sense it's a browser

    Edit: Item is probably in the "unapproved list" - works on another item.

    Does somebody else experience the bug in PAPPSS2 not to receive the full amount? Cart is 399 and code works but only gives $20 instead $30. I was just in the Ebay online chat and they say it'll be resolved in 2-3 days which is disappointing.

    Has someone used this code expecting 30$ but only getting 20? I’m thinking about purchasing and then contacting eBay again to get 10$ back. Lots of people complained eBay was admitting to me but they didn’t resolve. Every day I contacted them they will send me a message and tell me about the outcome but nothing is happening. Exhausting for 10 bucks. Yes I could buy something for 101 to reach 500 and get 50 off but it’s ridiculous. Canceled all my eBay plus accounts for now. I guess this voucher code is running out soon?

    Awesome after I have contacted them again it’s suddenly not working at all anymore. There’s still the 5% off voucher which gives nearly same. Hopefully a 10% discount code comes soon.

      Yea I have reported it about 10m ago. 30 off never worked. Only 20 or 50. You can still use the 5% off code or wait if they fix the voucher code.
