Umm, surely the DNS only affects first time it looks up a name? I can't imagine how this could help ping times in-game.

This is obviously a scam. Potentially very bad security issues if it does actually set your DNS server, which I assume it doesn't. Probably does absolutely nothing
I hope everyone who installed it took note of the permissions.. just for apparently changing DNS from the local ISP to some OpenDNS like google or cloudfire.
If it can change your DNS then it could change it to something malicious. What a moronic app
