My second deal posted.

I got the Houndstooth last year (selling for around $70) and have been impressed with the quality. Good size to take to work when it’s raining or will be raining. That’s now sitting permanently in the car so need one for work again.

Not everyone will want to spend a lot of $$$ on an umbrella but you’ll be keeping this unlike the disposal ones that snaps with a strong gust of wind.

What I like about Balios is it really feels nice to hold, wood handle does feel plush and the best is the button to open and collapse umbrella (you still need to manually compact it).

    Nope. Gone through two of these. The internal string just breaks off & it no longer retracts. They kindly sent a replacement which broke again. Could still use it, but a breeze then snapped it inside out. Bent twisted, doesnt close so it's in the bin. It looks good, feels good, but can't really recommend over a $5 cheapy.

      You sure it's the same brand? There are some clones of this design. I have this and it's been solid.

    I’ve been looking for a compact one to keep in car.
    Amazon is great in a lot of ways but these days nearly impossible to get honest feedback from reviews since a lot of companies (especially Chinese dropshippers of alibaba resellers) buy super positive/ glowing reviews.

    I’ll trust you this time, OP and hope you’re not a paid shill. Will order two.

    Don’t know how this compares but I got the Xiaomi umbrella which I’ve been really impressed with.

    It’s a great size and has the push button collapse too, but it also closes inverted so the outer is dry. Inbuilt LED light in the handle is a gimmick but I guess could be useful when walking in the rain at night.

    Remarkable quality when it comes to Balios.
    While it isn't the deal, if you're after a big umbrella, they have this amazing premium double canopy umbrella. Honestly 10\10.

      Glad you’re happy with it. I got the Navy delivered yesterday and didn’t bring it with to work. Leaving to go home and it’s raining. Thanks Murphy’s law.

      Between the new one and my old one, the older one edges it out as I prefer the handle on that better. Worth checking out if it ever goes on sale

        The new one has a double canopy (hence wind resistant) whereas the old one has a single canopy. So I think the new one is a better model!

    I ordered a black and a Navy separately. The Black arrived but the Navy order was cancelled due to supplier issues!
