I want to go to sale

  • +5

Oh the man with skinny but big feet just can't catch a break….

    • That me

  • Great price

  • I bought 8 H, I don't wear 8H

    • +2

Ah man, you bought it just as I was checking out. I wear an 8H :(

  • +2

Jesus thats good, like all time good.

Could even buy and resell them for a profit.

    if only 9.5 or 10 :(

  • OOS

  • Got the black, thanks!

  • Great post, thank you!

  • These are fake

    • how do you know?!?!?

      • +14

Bought some in the last sale and found them to be different to the originals that I usually get. So I got them inspected by the company consultant and they acknowledged that it was a knock off.

        • Can you take them into an RM williams store for inspection?

        • Interesting, they even have physical stores. I'd be curious to call them and enquire about the shoes and see what they have to say..

        • I guess at least you can get your money back if they are fake. Hopefully these are real though.

          • -1

@Noctuafanboy: There's alot of fakes going around at this price point so I'd definitely be vigilant about it!

            • -2

@Bargainbrother: But you'll definitely see the difference in quality if they are fake. RM quality is top of the shelf and fakes can't keep up with its quality

            • @Bargainbrother: Thanks mate. I'll take them in to my local store and ask them if they can confirm whether they're real or fake. Were you able to get what you paid back?

              • -3

@Noctuafanboy: Yeah you should be right. As long as you've got your receipt. I bought ones around this price mark a few years ago and they turned out to be fake. I was able to get my money back thankfully.

        • Any telltale signs that they may have been fake?

        • +4

No evidence no care. Easy to defame a company thats been around for over 100 years without showing any evidence. For all we know. You never bought or/ someone bought it and returned a fake and you bought that fake.

I find this entirely hard to believe.

          • +1

@aerona: Yup absolutely no clarification from anyone commenting that they’re fake. They could have purchased from AliExpress for all we know. Both Grundy’s and the RM boot factory are in Adelaide as well, I’m sure RM could go into any of Grundy’s 3 stores to have a look for themselves.

    • how do you know?

    • +6

These are almost definitely not fake lol

Being sold by a bricks and mortar chain of stores located in Adelaide, not some shady mydeal drop shipper.

  • So close yet so far

  • +1

    Says unavailable? Oos already?

  • +1

Yep they sold fakes before. I would ask for a cancellation.

    • +8

Care to show us some evidence?

  • Back in stock

  • +1

it seems still in stock, ordered a pair anyway.

Curious about the comments above them being fake though…

  • +1

I'm a 14 US in sneakers. 13 AU/UK in dress shoes. My feet are quite wide.

Bite the bullet and buy 13 H?

    Edit: and now OOS

    • +2

Need to go instore to check out your size. I noticed half a size can make a huge difference.

  • Bought a black pair using Paypal just in case there's a problem

  • OOS but then now UK 12 Chestnut back in stock. Not in my sizeeee unfortunately.

  • Shit I just had a look on the picture on the website then compared to the pictures on RM Williams website. It does look fake to me… should I cancel my order? Anyone know had experience buying from this site?

    • It doesn't look fake to me. Pictures look exactly like my 6 yr old dynamic craftsman. From the looks of it, seems like some small details have been improved on the current RM William model.

Given the price, I would still have bought it if my size was available. Comfortable as and still going strong after years of wear.

      • Are you saying the one OP posted is the old model? didn't know there are old/new model of those boots, it looks like the sole missing a lot of details here, not sure if it's the picture quality though

    • Those are just old photos of the same RM Williams Dynamic Flex.

They changed the Dynamic Flex sole recently to address a splitting/cracking issue that affected the old Dynamic Flex sole.

Grundy shoes are a very well known retailer, locked in the same state as RM Williams. I'd be surprised if they could get away with fakes.

  • for the people that keep saying they are fake, can you guys return them back then?

    • +1

Guy above said that he could. Else you could open a dispute with your bank if they're counterfeit goods.

  • +1

In stock again lol. This seems a bit fishy. Hopefully I'm wrong, otherwise I guess I'll be getting a refund (either through Grundy's or via dispute through my bank) anyway.

  • Just when I was pulling the trigger, my size is oos. Sad story.

  • Just bought size 8.5H US , will be interesting to see what i receive..
BTW no one mentioned the 10% bonus on signup?? WHADDAAA. I didnt sign up

    Paid with paypal just incase.

    • +2

Signup I believe only works for full-price items - so no missing out for you :)

  • For sure fake at that price

  • +1

How to tell if they are fake??

    • +7

      The spelling is "RW Milliams"

  • +2

I ordered a pair of the black ones, but the same sizes keep coming back in stock? Surely it's and error or something is fishy?

  • All links 404

  • +2

Cheers OP - bought a pair of 13's. The store offers 14 days refunds so I'll use one of my PayPal free returns if either a) they don't fit or b) they're not genuine (this is pair number 3 so hopefully will be able to tell if they're fakes). Like others have said though, they're a well-established bricks and mortar store, so would be surprised if they are fakes.

    • +1

13s in RM's are massive. more like US 15. hope you have a big foot!

      • Ah huh - already have RM 13's.

  • +3

Anyone happen to screen shot the price? Trying to see if I can price protect using this store.

    • +1

Whereabouts are you planning to do?

      • +1

I was planning to see if I could use it for a 28 Degrees price protection insurance claim

  • +3

Had my order cancelled, they didn't have stock :(

    • Did you purchase quite early on? Hoping I got in prior to it being out of stock…

      • 10:08pm

    • when did you place the order?

  • spewing i missed this :(

  • +6

Just got confirmation that my pair shipped. I believe I got the order in around 10-15 minutes after it was posted.

    • Please report back if they appear authentic or not…I missed out but just curious lol

      • +1

Will do. I'm interested to see what happens. Fingers crossed they're real.

      • +3

They definitely seem to be authentic. I also called RM Williams and they confirmed that Grundy's Shoes is a genuine RM Williams stockist. May have been a pricing error or they were getting rid of all RMW there. I think I lucked out due to having very small feet.

        • +1

I checked with RM Williams as well and they confirmed that Grundy's is indeed a reseller of theirs. When my order got cancelled by Grundy's they said they were getting rid of these because they will no longer be stocking these.

        • Wow, excellent score. Enjoy!

        • damn you are lucky but you beat most of us here by speed so can't really complain lol.

I ended up getting a pair from The Iconic for $357. I think I've done well too for sub-400.

          • @CharityCase: I think speed and having short, fat feet haha. $357 is extremely low. Would have been pretty stoked with that price too! Will probably cop the chestnut ones in the future hopefully around that price.

  • Just received my "order cancelled due to no stock" email

  • my order was cancelled as well. At least now I don't need to worry about then being fake ;(

  • Also order cancelled.

  • Damnit - order cancelled too.

  • Just had my order from early hours of this morning cancelled.

  • Order cancelled too

  • Is a H Fit wider than 5E ?

    • Not even close. Probably 2e to 3e bannock.
You'll need the Tambo X width for 3e and above

      • Are they comfortable as they look quite stiff from the website photos ?

        • Most people find them very comfortable. Depends on what you define stiff as well.

The Tambo come in Yearling leather usually, which is fairly soft when broken in.

          • @zhenjie: Thanks mate

  • Cancelled lol
