Demo'd a bunch of headphones the other day. Found the sennheiser was not as good as others for similar price. My fav was the skull candy aviators. I wont ever buy headphones again with out trying them first.
not sure if you were able to do this at the shops, but you need the battery and the noise-cancelling function turned ON to get the full range of the headphones.
this is a great price for an excellent noise-cancelling headphone. I got these about 4 years ago along with a set of Bose QC2. I found the Sennheisers to be better, and settled with them. I recently sold it second hand for $200 and purchased a new pair overseas.
Pity you didn't post this 1 week earlier. Just bought a pair off amazon for $335, but have to ship through a forwarder for $45 (along with a few other things)
