  • Good deal. Bought it last time when it was a similar price. It's turbo charged my computer and I haven't seen no BSOD.

Yo Rep. Can you bring this back or any other tablet for a good price?

  • +1

for those cash strapped ozbargainers they also have the Ocz Vertex+ 120gb for $139, somewhat slower overall transfer rates but for normal application usage still a nice speed boost

  • This and the $139 Vertex+ are pretty close in value.

  • +1

Is this a good one to get for the under $200 mark ?

    • A lot of people say it is not reliable as Intel/Crucial but I have had it for 9 months and no problem.

  • This is SATA3. Will it be backward compatible with SATA2 motherboards? Any performance decrease due to that?

    • +6

It will be backwards compatible but will be limited by the transfer speeds of the SATA2 port, so it will max out at SATA2 speeds which is 3.0GB/s = 375MB/s but it will still have the really quick random access times which helps with booting up and launching applications.

      • Awesome. Good to know! Thanks for that :)

Hi, any deal for the OCZ Agility 3 60GB?

  • -1

    Tempting…..

  • +3

OCZ have a very high failure rate. 2/2 drives have failed and were extremely unstable that I have bought previously. Words of warning for new SSD purchasers, judge an SSD by its failure rate first and speed second.

Thanks for the info, and voting down my comment ;P

    • 2 out of 2 hey? Well they are still on our books and have been for over 2 years. All SSD's fail, some sooner than others, your just unlucky, or the batch your supplier had was bad.

To be honest we havent noticed one drive as a stand-out "bad performer", and we have four brands in stock.

Nice price, and nicer with delivery.

  • +1

PCCaseGear has this at $169 at their normal price (no customer limits), and they always deliver next day for me from melb->syd.

    • Which makes this deal mediocre. Gotta love PCCaseGear

    • Yeah, they're literally my number 1 PC store online. I always check if they've got something I like before considering other places. Simply put, in all the years I've spent buying PC parts, I've had 0 problems with them.

    • $169 normal price + delivery fee ($12 to Sydney).

  • Well Centrecom have f'ed this up for me. TNT have lost the package and Centrecom aren't answering any of my emails.

I want my money back, as I needed this for a trip I've made earlier this week to do production work for a shoot.

    Great. Not.

Don't use TNT people… they can't even find my package in a tracked system - which somehow scanned in Sydney last stop… (Sent and meant to be delivered from/to Melbourne…!)

Supposedly a bad postcode which is bullshit as my shipping info is correct on my centrecom order so either Centrecom have screwed up or double whammy TNT have as well.

Tracking as below and TNT have been trying to find it for a week now after I had to chase them up as my item has not arrived. Centrecom not responding to my emails…

  • Centrecom finally flagged the item as lost by TNT and have supposedly issued me a refund.

    Do not use TNT people!
