Dreamworld are currently running a promotion where everybody can purchase 12 months of access for the same price as a 3 day ticket.

If you purchase through ExperienceOz you have 6 months to redeem the ticket before your 12 months start. (Direct Purchases start immediately).

You can also get further discount on this through Optus Perks ($101.15), NRMA ect.

QLD and Northern NSW residents can purchase a Locals Pass through ExperienceOz too, like the other pass it will not start immediately unlike direct purchase. RACQ offers a bonus $20 Food/Beverage voucher.

      Disneyland (California) actually don’t even offer annual passes at all currently, and they cancelled/refunded existing ones with covid.

    Is Dreamworld even any good these days? Most people seem to say half the rides are always closed and Movieworld is better - just wanted to get someone's opinion who had been.

      Yes, and they have a massive new roller coaster opening later in the year.

      Always worth checking the parks maintenance page however, currently DW have a few kids rides closed.

      Half the rides are probably closed because they might actually be doing maintenance now.

      IMO the big 7 or so thrill rides are still good, but check they are running the day you are planning on going.

      Other than that, pretty ordinary, there is not much else there.

    Anyone bought the locals pass and can comment how long you have to redeem? The listing just states:

    "Local Annual Passes must be activated before the barcode expiry date listed on your ticket. Passes will be valid for 12 months from redemption date"

    The 3 day pass deal shows the 6 months but I'm assuming the locals pass is shorter time to redeem

      I just purchased the RACQ Locals Annual Pass (comes with a bonus food voucher for the same price).

      Expiry on the ticket is 14/04/2022

    Is this the theme park that decided instead of purchasing a ride from a reputable constructor that it was too expensive and instead would have it locally built without many of the safety features?

    Is this the theme park that caused the deaths of four people (they were cut in half).

    Is this the theme park that without consulting affected families said they would turn the area into a memorial… But instead have cleared the area and are building a roller coaster.

    Not sure how confident cutting prices makes me.

      Dreamworld do offer this $119 12 month pass for everyone but as I mentioned you have 6 months to activate it when purchased through experience oz.

        I'm aware of the $119 local pass with the added extras. Posted that as it's cheaper than what OP posted which is a simple annual pass to Dreamworld only

          Actually the pass I posted is for all 3 venues, just didn’t mention the others. Also since WWW is closed currently.

    It's a special Dreamworld (Gold Coast) hasn't had before afaik.

    Usually it's about $140-$150 for the 12 months unlimited access, so pretty nice offer to only pay $119.

    Here the details:

    Unlimited entry for 12 months from date of redemption
    - Unlimited entry to Dreamworld for 12 months
    - Unlimited entry to WhiteWater World during seasonal operations
    - Unlimited entry to SkyPoint Observation Deck

    Pass must be redeemed within 6 months from date of purchase. (unfortunately we just bought 2 months ago, otherwise would have bought for the next 12 months, oh well :) )

    Passes will be valid for 12 months from redemption date
