Another free to play weekend. This time for Fallout 76 which has come a long way from the disaster it was. Worth giving a try now.

Enjoy!

Free, the only acceptable price for this game.

  • I've been playing since before the last two big updates (Wastelanders and Locked and Loaded) and I really enjoy the game now, the world looks awesome, the storyline is solid and the gameplay and fort building aspects appeal to me. I paid $15 back in the day and I have gotten tons of value from this game. It's definitely worth more than $20 bucks— its got a lot of content, the updates have been both massive and free and It's super fun to explore Appalachia. With friends it's even better, its a really great co-op game. The hate is totally undeserved at this point and seems to be the knee-jerk reaction of edgelords who think they are being very clever and funny regurgitating popular opinion of the game on release. It's not the game it was at launch.

Sure there are some cons— it can be pretty grindy in parts, not forgiving in others— they rely on the cash shop a lot (understandably) some of the higher level content is annoying if you don't spec right, (I love being a shotgunner but it is not the most viable build) and there are bugs. But the quests are really fun, there are some really cool ones— and the end game content is good too. And again if you co-op it's really good.

It's never going to be Fallout New Vegas, but if you put that aside, its fun in its own right.
