Thanks OP. No go for me. It would seem you need a facebook account to grab this one. I deleted mine years ago and have no intention of going back to that world…
I got it without a facebook account. But I created my Oculus account a couple of years back and have a Quest1.
Don't need one to grab it? I just logged in with my Oculus account.
Just nabbed it myself. No Facebook.
Try using browser to claim instead of the oculus app, only way I got it to work via mobile.

Still relatively new to OzB so not very familiar with the rules. Basically Lysander used up his quota for the day and couldn't post new deals so posted it in the anonymous thread instead. I had his permission to post the deal and it just didn't feel right for me to take credit for it as he was the one who found it, that's why I listed the source.

In guessing it's not native Quest 2, hence the and Quest 2 via Airlink/Link.
Yeah the game well and truly pre-dates quest 2 (game is a few years old now) and is not native on Q2 (would need a rewrite to make it Q2 native). Need a PC for this one.
I've signed in using FB and 'purchased' the free game.
How does it get linked up to steam? Will a code be sent via email?
Can't seem to do anything else from this point.This wasn't a steam purchase; the steam reference is only for pricing I think.
The oculus is a different eco-system completely; will need to download through appropriate desktop app I think?

Am I reading into this correctly that with the Quest 1 not being mentioned at all it won’t run on it even with the Air Link work around?

This deal is for the PC version only. The PC version can be streamed to a Quest via USB cable (Quest 1 or 2) or via Air Link over wifi (Quest 2 only).
