Dell 27" S2721DGF QHD 144hz (165hz on DP) IPS Gaming Monitor $479.39 (Was $798.99), AW3821DW $1,574.3 Delivered @ Dell Australia

This post contains affiliate links. OzBargain might earn commissions when you click through and make purchases. Please see this page for more information.

The old OzBargain favourite monitor is 40% off for EOFY, no coupon code required. Uses an LG Nano IPS panel, and is basically an LG 27GL850/27GN850 without an sRGB clamp or cheat crosshairs but at a cheaper price.

Not as good as previous deals including the eBay Plus event a few weeks back. This price includes no additional warranty which other offers at a similar price have. This deal may be useful for some people, however I would expect another eBay sale to go live before EOFY since this ends on the 17th. (EDIT Extended until the 24th now)

Be aware of delivery timeframes when purchasing, these can be for delivery 6-8 weeks in the future at times however this has generally come down in recent months.

The 38" AW3821DW is also 30% off for $1,574.30, around $100 more than previous lowest price.

    Has LOVEKEANU finally been retired?

    • Does not work for this offer at least. AUAFFILIATES15%OFF also increases the price as it only applies to full price items.

    • It's dead for this product, but there's another avenue to get a 7% coupon working on this product.

Go to this link and enter a throwaway email into the "Enter your email" area (seems to work fine on websites such as Emailondeck.

This will then generate a 7% coupon which is sent via email and can use this on this monitor to get it down to $445.

Doesn't seem to work? I get "Oops something went wrong, please click on the FAQ."

Think I paid $468 last BF. Worth it, would even pay this price.

If you can wait though, getting a $400 DGF would be awesome.

There was plenty of stock at under $400 from the Ebay Plus event a few weekends back. I don't think they sold out of it at all during the promotion, which tends to suggest to me that OzBargain doesn't have room for any more monitors!

Got my DGF for $398 from a previous deal - bloody amazing for the price.

      • Wish I had been watching that… I would take 2 for that

        • +2

yeah last ebay plus deal had them going for $359
combined with gift cards, could've gotten them for $323.

      • Got mine for $359 about 2 weeks back from the eBay plus deal. I should have got 2 now that I think about it.

  • Anyone got a coupon credit which will go unused from the last round of AW3821DW? Would be greatly appreciated.

  • does this accept the 4k signal like the 27GL850 for ps5 gaming ?

I got the S2721DGF two weeks ago. ;(
    HELP!!

    • Looks like IPS glow to me.

      • So its okay? But why do I see orange on the right and white/light blue on the left?

        • +1

I have that monitor and it isnt at the highest brightness setting but it is nowhere close to what I have. I have hardly any backlight bleed and I believe these panels are known to have less IPS bleed. Can you see the glows when playing games/normal operation? Sometimes it happens during subtitles in HDR mode but I hardly notice it.

          • @BongRippa: Hey, yeah so mine is at 77 brightness and 75 contrast. I can't see the glows when playing games or when normal operation like browning or YT, unless watching dark movies. You think this is a faulty display? Thanks

            • @PlaneProof: I took a look and im 75 brightness and contrast and default colours on radeon and tried to take a picture but realised the camera made it look 10x worse compared to eyes (looks the same as your pic). If that is the case then it is fine and normal. If your camera pic is what you see with your eyes then there could be a problem.

              • @BongRippa: Yeah it makes it look way worse, thanks for taking the time to help out buddy. My friend has a samsung VA panel he almost doesn't have any. :( Oh well I dont see it that much in normal viewing.

              • @BongRippa: Also for some reason the top of the panel doesn't have any bleed… weird

  • All these gaming monitors on sale recently - are these also good for work? Which ones are best for office/productivity in the 27-34" range? Some of the prices vary a lot so if anyone has researched this recently, would be great to hear your thoughts!

    • +1

Yes, all these are good for work as well as play.

Gaming monitors normally have a high refresh rate like 120hz which makes gaming smooth. If for office work, I'd use a 4k60hz monitor.

    • +2

Once you go high refresh rates you never go back, I can't even browse the web on 60Hz comfortably anymore. If you deal with lots of scrolling of text e.g. code then it is very necessary imo.

Still waiting mine to arrive from the $350ish eBay plus deal…long wait! Good to hear it was a worthy purchase.

  • Ouch the DGF discount isnt very generous this time around.

  • This one or the 34 Samsung UWQHD VA Monitor 3440x1440

Almost only reading and browsing not gaming.

    Thanks

  • I impulse bought one during the eBay sale and now selling it BNIB at no markup in classifieds. Mods please remove if not appropriate.

The MSA20 monitor arm is also 50% off ($164.49, originally $328.99)

    https://www.dell.com/en-au/shop/dell-single-monitor-arm-msa2…

    • did you order one? Bought on the first week of June and haven't received mine yet, CS saying there's a shortage of parts. But the item is still on sale and in stock

  • does this monitor support daisy chain?

    • No it doesn't support daisy chain

  • Is the historic low $359? Wanting to get this or S2721QS before EOFY so I can claim in on tax for working from home.

  • Just for reference my monitor from the previous deal arrived today.

Really good buy, I'd honestly be happy at even this price for it.
