Checked my emails, joined up and whipped it out straight away no issues.

Except I had 4k points and got $40. Bonus bonus?

    Thanks

      Phrasing….

  •

referral or the email link, which one is better?

  •

    Good

  •

Not working for me even though i've got an Origin account and smart meter (already using the app), but wasn't signed up to Spike.

All I get is "Uh oh, it looks like something went wrong. Please try again later.". :(

Is there any extra payment to get smart meter installed at the home?

    •

From what I managed to work out last time, it's at the discretion of the power company.

Just try and see if you get lucky with the operator. When I called about it (Origin), they said I didn't have a need for one as my existing ones were not old enough and are working fine (even though I have a weird 3 meter setup that every electrician raises an eyebrow at). Mostly I just wanted to consolidate to one easy to read meter, so I can keep track of it.

I might try and say next attempt that I'm thinking of leaving as another provider has promised me to install a smart meter. Shrug?

Thanks for posting this. Didn't receive the email but was able to connect and get the Paypal credit.

  •

Got it too. PayPal link wasn't accepting my PayPal address so redeemed for Amazon credit instead. Gift card came through in about 2 mins.

    •

Go to your Spike Account Details and Edit account details. One of the options is Paypal.

      •

Yea I got all that. But when the pop up loaded to enter my PayPal email address it kept crapping out. All good, the Amazon credit will be used in next to no time so just as good as cash.
