Samsung Apps is the Samsung App Store that is pre-installed on Galaxy SII. Launch Samsung Apps and find Modern Combat 3.
For Custom ROM users:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1124396 <— Open that URL, and click on "Bloatware Removed" (a link at the top of the post). It has the Samsung Apps apk if you need it. The ROM linked here is Cognition 777 for Galaxy SII.
Yes. I don't use the SII anymore since I moved on to Nexus. But when I had the SII, I was changing between CheckROM and Cognition ROM. For Cognition, designgears (the ROM chef) posted links to all the Samsung Apps that he removed from his ROM. The links to the removed apps were posted in the same thread of the ROM.

Right on top of the post is the link to the removed bloatware (one of which is Samsung Apps).
Thanks for the responce, can anyone link for SII on xda for samsung apps, I know it's lazy but I'm at work and not really keen to trawl through xda forum on phone
Dude, did you even click the URL I provided above? The URL above has the link to all bloatware right on top of the post. You don't have to search through xda to find Samsung Apps. It's in the link provided above and it says: "Bloatware Removed". Click "Bloatware Removed" and Samsung Apps is right there.
On my Samsung App store, I can only find Modern Combat 2 for free. Cannot find Modern Combat 3

Is it just me or is the aiming system just horrible? Sensitivity and acceleration doesn't feel right.

The Samsungs App for custom ROMs won't work unless your custom ROM has the TouchWiz framework.
Little more info on the custom rom situation would be appreciated. Do we need to install all Samsung apps from xda etc
