Beko BFL7510W 7.5kg Front Load Washing Machine $447 + Delivery (Free C&C) @ JB Hi-Fi

80

Decent price for a 7.5kg 1200rpm inverter washer, may be an all time low for this model. Would be cheaper if you can get 5% off gift cards (e.g. Suncorp). Delivery to metro Melbourne looks to be $55.

I've had this washer for about a year which I bought at RRP ($599). One thing to note with getting this delivered is the transport bolts don't seem to be a standard size (at least with the socket set I've got) so they were a pain to remove (I used pliers).

    I used pliers

They usually come with very basic wrench.

Posting this here because I know I would be interested in knowing this if I were looking to replace a malfunctioning washing machine:

Each new appliance comes with a 2 year manufacturer’s warranty from the date of purchase. Simply register on the Beko website within 90 days of your purchase and Beko will extend the manufacturer’s warranty to 5 years, free of charge. If you do not register within the 90 days, your manufacturer’s warranty will remain as 2 years from the date of purchase.

This warranty only applies to new appliances purchased and used in Australia or New Zealand and is in addition to (and does not exclude, restrict or modify in any way) other rights and remedies under a law to which the appliances relate, including any non-excludable statutory guarantees in Australia and New Zealand.

Pay with Amex to make it 6 years

  • I like this persons experience on productreview.com.au -
    Happy then disappointed

Bought about 4 weeks ago, very 1st wash was great, love the look, the features and the Bluetooth but then it began walking out of the laundry and heading down the hall to say hello, smashing about violently and loudly, had it exchanged for another and this time it near broke my finger and damaged the laundry trough and tiles, Appliances Online take no responsibility for this and say its up to Beko, I've heard nothing from them. It a shame as it's a great machine apart from when it becomes possessed and bounces around, bare in mind this weighs 71kgs so to move like this takes some effort!!

Sometimes it might be that a user is faulty, not a machine.

      • hmmmm. Quite possibly.
Often people blame it on the washing machine, but they just dont know how to use it properly. The reviewer probably put in an unbalanced load, which will cause the machine to be "possessed" because it shifts the centrifugal force off center.

Some machines have sensors etc to detect during a wash when to stop washing if it detects a massive off center centrifugal force to avoid this problem.
Or the machine was not properly levelled when they installed it…….

Sounds like someone didn’t remove the transit bolts 😂

    • We have Beko dishwasher, stove, and oven in our rental place. Not happy at all, very bad quality. Dishwasher almost damaged all dishes without proper cleaning. Had Bosch before, best experience..

      • How? The water jet is too powerful? I am really interested

        • And then you have those who complain about Bosch. Neverending story. Like I bought a front loader, it is moldy, smells. Had top loader for years, no mold, no smell. I'll never buy another front loader.

In fact. it is a user fault. They needed to wipe clean the excess water and also you need to clean the drum from time to time.

Other times, it is just simple a bad quality. Most things would be avoided if everyone bothered to read manual first. It is not just plug and play.

          • @bargainparker: absolutely false, tried all solutions, cleaning, recommended tablet and dishwasher detergent … no change or positive result

            • @Alit: My point was in the fact that, some people also complain about Bosch and also I wasn't saying you are at fault, but in general that people just expect to press a button and it magically does all the rest, without bothering to first read the manual. Also, as said before, other times it is a low quality appliance.

You can give the same Bosch washing machine to 100 people, and some will be happy, some will not.

        • It doesn't wash dishes properly. Tried almost all solutions here: https://www.mrappliance.com/blog/2020/february/dishwasher-no… but no result.
Dishes are just dirty after it finished; small black dots stuck to dishes and dried you can feel something's there when touch it. Tried with different programs and less load…same results. Had couple of Teflon pans which were dishwasher safe but after washing in Beko, the appearance changed. Not same pan as before..it looks different like has been used for years and without proper wash.

Whatever I've done here has been same as what I've done when had Bosch.
I remember technician told me in response to above: "This is Beko, not Bosch!"

          • @Alit: Non-stick pans shouldn't be washed in a dishwasher, even if they're listed as dishwasher safe, regardless of the brand of pan or dishwasher. The detergent gets blasted around like sand and damages the non-stick coating.

    any deals on dryers ^^

  • I've had this washing machine for about 9 months now and love it. Haven't had any issues with it and I think it cleans the clothes really well. Can't go wrong with the extended 5 year warranty.

I bought this after buying a Beko dishwasher (also with the 5 year warranty) which I really like too. The push button controls on the dishwasher are a bit imprecise but this washing machine has a dial and touch buttons that work really well. I haven't tried the bluetooth but the reviews I read before purchase didn't sound very promising.

  • We have a beko washing machine and dishwasher. Neither are faulty, just not very effective at their respective functions. Wouldnt recommend this brand generally.

Opposite experience - own this washer and a beko dryer and couldn’t be happier

    • We have a Beko single unit washer/dryer. Previously had separate Bosch washer and dryer. Very happy with it and no issues after 5 years.

  • Crap machine and terrible support

  • LG WV5-1275W is better

I have a Beko dish washer (3 years old now) and heat pump clothes dryer (1 year old now). Happy with both.

JBHIFI standard delivery is expensive and useless, charge $55 for delivery only, no unpack and install the washing machine. Just beware this overcharge service before purchase.
