Purchased $300 Woolworths Gift Card but Can't Use Online. I Can't Get a Refund

I purchased essential $300 Woolworths gift card and I didn’t know it can’t be used online.

What can I do? I bought it to get the rewards points and to do my click and click online. I tried to purchase online and it wouldn’t let me. I rang up and they said no refund but then I can maybe speak to supervisor next week. It seem that there is no way for refund. I hate going into the store.

What options do I have for a hack or short cut or other ideas?

    Simply Groceries Gift Card, You could have bought a WIsh giftcard. May be they can swap yours to a Wish giftcard ?

        You bought a physical card for this deal? I think it is not meant to be for instore giftcard purchase.

    Do you drive? It can be used at Woolworths Petrol. Don't think it's possible to buy petrol online, yet.

        Upon reading your post again I'm not sure if you bought the Simply Groceries gift card or the Essentials gift card. Only the Essentials gift card is valid for petrol.

    This might be a bigger problem for you… once you’ve overcome this spending it in store shouldn’t be a problem.

    I wonder if I can purchase Amazon or Stan gift cards but I think I read I can’t purchase gift cards with a gift card.

      Dont think Woolies is selling Amazon yet, but Coles is selling now. This grocery card is for granny/grandpa as it cannot be added to Woolies Money App. I bought it once instore coz I could not find Wish card instore.
