How do the Bosch ones compare to Karcher K3 at Costco (which is like $229)?

  • +12

Thanks OP great to wash down the kids before they come inside

    • +1

from across the other side of the street :)

  • Previous deals mention the 120 doesn’t come with the 360 nozzle.

  • Anything in the range with a brass pump? (ie not plastic).

Hows this vs the karcher k2 for foam cannon washing my car?

    • I used the K2 years ago, and the main thing i can remember is that the K2 hose is longer.

With the bosch, you really need to buy the extenstion hose.

I prefer the shorter bosch because it's more compact, and it's less likely to fall over.

  • +2

Extended hose is must buy with this as the original is too short to go around a small compact car let alone SUVs.

    • How much is extended hose?

      • 6m for $28.

It's a must for this unit

        • Is this the one you were referring to?

          • +1

@kozb: yes, you are correct, it has a male and female ends.

            from my purchase history (2018)

            Item(s) Subtotal:$25.45
            Delivery:$7.26

          • @kozb: Further down that page it says "New (4) from $28.00 Prime FREE Delivery", and the $28 even comes from Amazon AU (the $38 one is from Amazon UK).

            https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B00F4TQEVQ

            • @redpen: that explains why the price was different. I thought it was $28 when i looked this morning!

bought it during one of the last sales, extremely good pressure washer for its small size. Definately need to get the hose extension that is sold seprately if you want to wash a car, the included pressure hose is way too short. Got a super cheap auto Eclipse Snow cannon to go with it

  • How would this compare to this other on-sale pressure washer

    https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/aw/d/B07JVD856N/ref=sspa_mw_det…

    • +1

There's literally a table on the page you linked outlining all of the features of each model.

  • Had this in my cart for a few weeks. Glad I didn't pull the trigger at $120.

  • +1

For those deciding between the 100 & 120 variants, I'm pretty sure the cable length is incorrect in the comparison chart.

It lists both with a hose length of 5m, but within the technical details on both Amazon and the Bosch website, it clearly states the 100 has a 3m hose.

  • Anyone has this one from bunnings? how do they compare?

I stopped buying Ozito.. it's all crap.

Reading online, most sites say that you need minimum 3000 psi to clean a concrete driveway, but I see that even the $400 Bosch models don't reach this number.

The reviews for this model however say that it's effective for balconies and around the home etc.

Has anyone any experience cleaning outdoor surfaces?

    • +1

as someone who has cleaned a driveway with a sub $150 unit, i wouldnt do it again. Basically any of these will produce a 1 inch strip of "clean" and it will take hours.

If i had my time again, i'd hire a bigger petrol unit, or maybe try that concrete washer tool thing.

  • Anyone have any thoughts on the AdvancedAquatak 140?:

    https://www.amazon.com.au/Bosch-Pressure-Washer-AdvancedAqua…

Can't find a negative thing about it online, except one review that said the included hose has a bit of a memory. Still, looks like nothing else sub-$500 compares except for this $350 Ryobi model. The reviews are mixed…but 6-year warranty, sooo?:

  • How’s the foam cannon on these? Worth buying a separate one? If so, any recommendations

    • $25 eBay job

  • Does anyone know where to buy the metal water filter for this in Aus?
