        I'm unsure of what else you'd expect for a product that has "connect" in its name.

        Edit: I have one. Once it's set up you can use it as you wish without connecting to any wifi network or other device

          @LlamaLlamaLamp: Apart from tracking the data on your phone app, is there anything else that makes this better than non connected BPMs? Can you leave it on during exercise or auto monitor for extended periods?

  I had one from last year and returned it. Comparing to my regular Omron, the reading on these are way out and not reliable.
