Seems to be historical low, correct me if I'm wrong. Definitely cheapest on Amazon according to CCC.

Been looking at getting these for a while. Still don't know if $299 is worth it due to the lack of bass but will post in case anyone else has been looking for these!

They're not really worth it and the novelty wears off after a day. Bose did a free 30-day trial when they first came out.

    • Ahh good, thanks for the info. Was thinking of getting them for work and replacing the lenses with clear lenses so I don't have to take my earphones out everytime I speak to someone, I can just pause my music.

      • AirPods Pro! Good sound, great for calls with noise cancellation and pass through audio on tap.

        • I've got Galaxy buds which do all of that.

Unfortunately I'm front of house in Hospitality and I think it looks bad when my co-workers use earphones whilst serving cistomers, that's why I'm looking for alternatives where I can pause the music, but keep in my ears / on my head so that I don't have to keep removing it and then having to wash my hands each time.

          Thanks for the suggestion though!

Oh, just a note: these have been $339.15 on Amazon for the last few weeks so it's more of a $40 saving than $100.

Just my 2 cents .. i would prefer a good sunglass company to merge with Aftershokz to produce a pair of sunglasses with Bone induction sound .. that would be awesome ,..

I'd be so into these if they ever came out! Live my aftershokz!

  • I remember when Oakley did something similar back in the 00s. Cool concept, average reality.

  • While I wouldn't get this, they're surprisingly less shit than expected from an audio quality pov

    • Yeah seriously, tried them in store the other day and they sounded much better than I expected.

I've been using the Alto (gen 1 Bose frames) for about 18 months now and love them. Sound quality is good (but I am no audiophile) and I hate using buds or cans which create a pressure difference between my inner and outer ears so these are perfect.

Beware though - the button on the Alto has a tendency to break after 6-12 months. I have had two replaced under warranty due to this problem. You may find the above models don't have this problem as they are gen 2.
