I'm happy to be proven wrong, but this seems to be the lowest prices for these units as far as I could tell.

I'm told the description on amazon page is lacking some information, and bamzero has kindly provided this info, which I'm pasting below:

  • tempted, but very little reviews or info

    • No reviews yes, but what info info do you need that you cannot find?

    • +3

Had to find the manuals for some info

      C3
      C7

C3 is 3.8A,0.8A, auto desulphation mode under 10.5V. Fairly basic, probably better of with the Noco Genius 5A for a few extra bucks
C7 is 12V7A,24V3.5A, with regen mode and power supply mode.

      • Thank you so much, I will add this to the description.

    • Having borrowed the C7 off a friend a few times, they charge rather fast for a medium capacity battery. Hefty weight and well built. RRP is $199 if I remember.

  • +1

    Perfect for my new Tesla

Strangely doesn't say anything about output, which is the usual price factor for this kind of products.

    • Could you please point out another product that publishes this exact detail that is absent here?

For instance, here's a Noco unit that's comparable (6V and 12V charger), which does not say anything about output: https://www.amazon.com.au/NOCO-GENIUS10AU-Fully-Automatic-Te…

yea it does - says 10amps

        • Apologies about that, and thank you, I need to keep my eyes open. :-)

    • yea im guessing is 3 and 7amps ?

      • Pretty much. Manual links here, they have all the info that's missing from the listing.

    • C3 is 3.8amp, C7 is 7.0 amp 12V and 3.5 amp 24V.

  • Looks to have identical cable connectors to a Noco unit I have, for whatever that tells us.

  • can this be used as a trickle charger or is that exactly what these are?

    • They are full chargers with the final stage being trickle charge.

  • I don't have a boat or jet ski
is this worth getting for my aging battery (buy me a few more months) or should I just replace the battery with a new one
edit: 7 year old Toyota stock battery

    • +2

At 7 years, I'd just buy a new battery.

  • Looks like they dont have an AU plug

    • I have 2 C7 and they have AU plug.
