I know people have an axe to grind with Kogan, but that's an impressively low price for the panel on offer. It

      Cheap crud is cheap crud.
      Polished turds going cheap

No price is a great price if the products have a history of not lasting.
I see many Kogan screens and TV's in FB Marketplace when I'm selling my stuff.
They usually are being sold as they have a fault and are just out of warranty.

Got screwed on a 3 month sim deal they wouldn't honour.
    I recently bought 2 x 5G phones and a new Lumix camera.
DSE/Kogun wasn't even in the starters for this race.
Cost them about $1.5K sales for that $15 sim

I bought their 34" qhd 120hz ips and honestly it's pretty good. Paid $550 back when it was on pre-sale.

Had it for a couple of months now, no dead/stuck pixels, blb is not too bad.

    • Same, it’s a Samsung panel, pretty good

You do know that the panels are not usually what goes (impact force aside).
The electronics (PCB's etc,) that are made by/for each brand are typically what stuffs up.
In the case of Kogan, it's my opinion that they buy the cheapest crap they can get that should last the warranty period.
I believe this has tended to be their approach from inception.
it may have a Kogan brand on it, I doubt that it's made to their specs.

        • Definitely, I can't tell how long is going to last but I'm ok if only lasts 12 months, you can always get the 3 years extended warranty. I still have a 2014 desktop as it hasn't died yet and I can't justify the upgrade until it does.

            @UrbionPT: Yes, the extended warranty.
How much of a bargain is it when you factor that in plus the return freight?

        • With the popularity of 34" panels, tcons, display and led drivers would be easy to source for these.

I've dealt with backyard qhd drivers and taobao back when I diy'd my monitors, I have faith kogan can do better.

    • And that one has video of usb-c doesn't it?

  • Kogan reported an issue with too much inventory at the last investor meeting. Guess they are trying to liquidate stock as fast as possible now.
