    That's a spicy screen.

    • Yes indeed, I don't know if this resolution is too high for 15.6 inch, but Lenovo sells $3000 14" laptops with UHD costing $500 extra, so guess its fine

  • This or https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/629211?

My first thought is hard to buy that since I dont have .edu email.

But moving past that, good comment, should compare them.

      Pros for P14:
      - better wireless maybe, ax instead of ac
      - weight 1.46, less than 1.8
      - 32gb ram (strange)
      - SSD slightly ahead maybe.. 2242 vs 2280

      Pros for Flex 15:
      - better cpu overall… except 4 cores not 8
      source 1
      source 2
      - 2 in 1 laptop, touchscreen and pen
      - UHD screen vs FHD (4x pixels, twice resolution)
      - discrete Nvidia entry level card instead of onboard
      - 15" not 14"

And only for a mere double the price……

You are correct that you can choose the $833 deal and get a great laptop, the main difference is

        1. its not touch screen or 2 in 1
        2. not as good cpu
        3. no discrete graphics card
        4. display of FHD 300 nits 15" will look a lot worse than UHD
  • I got mine, its an excellent laptop, really nothing to complain about it, only downside is short battery life but I dont go anywhere with it. The 4k large screen is very nice for reading text and excel type ui.

I believe its a lot better deal than ones like this, cheaper and better
