      You use 3utools to mask the location of your iOS device to the 7/11 you're price locking to.
      and then price lock.

      Use projectzerothree to find the location with the cheapest prices.

          You can use Fake GPS to spoof your location on Android. Not sure if the 7-Eleven app will pick up on the spoofing or not.

    Wait, the 7-Eleven app thing is working again? Last I recall, they released a new app which basically ruined all of the workarounds.. Are we back on?

      No more modified app
      For android, it now requires a rooted device with Magisk + Smalli patcher
      For iPhone, its much easier but requires a computer (PC or Mac) and change location via 3utools or iFakelocation

        iFakeLocation is the way to go on PC. Light weight program (~3MB) compared to 3utools (~100MB).

          Able to change location and lock price in 1 min

          Here's my step:
          1. Have the Paste app installed in both iPhone and MacOS (https://pasteapp.io/)
          2. Use ElevenMe to copy the geocode (by swiping left)
          3. Connect iPhone to Mac and open iFakelocation
          4. Paste geocode to iFakelocation
          5. Open 7-11 app and lock price

          Does iFakelocation need iTunes though?

          3utools doesn't, so if your iDevice's only role is to lock in fuel, 100MB is better than the 3MB and requirement for iTnes to be installed.

      the app does not reply on IP address to determine location. It uses the phone location service which is GPS based

      No, only if your car can't take 91/e10 should you use 98

      The RON numbers are for resistance to knocking (for higher compression ratios), it doesn't represent the energy available within the fuel..

        Yeah, if the car requires premium is minimum RON 95 (which mine and older cars require)
        If 98 is cheap or within an extra 4c I probably get it (like when 7 eleven had it cheaper than 95).

          I legitimately have no 7/11s around me that have Extra 95, otherwise I would be filling that in (when there's no fun helicopter parties like the one today at Bracken Ridge)

          Every 7/11 has 98 and 91, but some don't have E10 or 95..

    Noticed Ron 98 is 147.5 at coopers plains, the 7 eleven app isn't picking it up , 10c more around here

    Ie the radius for the 7 eleven app must be about 3-4km whereas 7km is a bit too far

      Are you comparing to the Bracken Ridge station? Because that's 27km away…

      As per the FAQ on this page, the app is limited to the nearest 5 stations within 250km of your location. And there are plenty of 7-11 before you even hit the city from Cooper's Plains, let alone Bracken Ridge.
