    fountain pens are nice but you have to change your writing style a bit, you don't want to be pressing down hard on fountain pens and low quality paper will lead to ink feathering and bleed through, ballpoints are still what you are going to want to use for some stuff. another thing to keep in mind is that most inks for fountain pens will not hold up to water, even a few drops will make it leave the page and leave a mess.

    A bit late for those who have already ordered, but the Parker IM series has probably the scratchiest nibs and least-reliable feeds in Parker's range.

    For this sort of coin, I'd recommend picking-up a couple of in Jinhao X450 or 159 model pens. They offer a much better writing experience IMHO.

      I agree with this assessment. The nib on this pen is very small and quite poorly made, doesn’t feel good at all.

    I got the same email "we ran OOS and will offer you a replacement Parker Jotter FP".
    Checked the price of both on Amazon AU.
    The one in this deal is $42, the one PoK are offering as a replacement is $23.
    I have written back to them telling them to shove it unless they can come up with something equivalent.

      Same, The Jotter is more of an entry level pen, I told them it is not a suitable alternative comparing to the Parker IM. The pen body feels more full-body and balanced
