    Works well with the Duet!

    a 150 days battery life

Anyone else find these are draining much, much faster? Lenovo refuses to accept it as a problem.

FYI, while AAAA batteries are expensive and can be hard to find, you can use the cells from most 9V batteries (as used in smoke alarms).
These are labelled "6LR61" , ie 6 x LR61 cells, which fit the Lenovo pens.

Note that the polarity may be the opposite of what you expect: the outer part is the positive anode, so put them in "backwards".
Metal-case batteries like Duracell are easier to open, as you can gently pull open the metal at the seam, rather than cutting a plastic shell.

Cool. Never knew you could do this. I can never find one locally when my Surface Pen dies so I'll know what to do next time. I also bought a Duet this week so I'll probably need a few spares as well :-)

You'd be surprised, my daughter got an edu account straight from Kindergarten - the investment has finally started paying dividends! :D

Just a pre-warning, I've had the USI pen since Sunday using this same exact deal and there are times the pen is finnicky and actually triggers 1cm-2cm from the screen. Be prepared for it to come and go, but when it works it's decent.
