      The KeyChrons are fantastic value for what they fit in a small package, look them up. I've got the K6 and it's way better than any previous Corsairs/Logitech mechanicals I've owned

      I have this keyboard and it's fantastic, never had an issue with it. If you're into the plain look and you don't want an OTT gaming keyboard it's perfect. RGB options are great and very bright.

          i have the K8 so going to assume in terms of RGB its the same, personally i find the rgb the worst part of the keyboard. You control it via keyboard shortcuts (which didn't both me) but after doing it the next day it always reset so now just leave it as whatever effect it decides to show (fade between colours, going to assume this is the first option).

          In terms of a keyboard its kind of my first mechanical keyboard but I have really liked using it and don't regret it at all.

            i need RGB for night time typing
            so experience with the RGB is pretty disappointing to hear.

              @pinkybrain: If you just need it for night time typing, get the white version to save a few dollars. Another one I could suggest that has better features and better RGB control is the ROYAL KLUDGE RK84

        Regular Gateron switches are interchangeable with Cherry and Cherry clones but not with optical switches.

      None of them come with Cherry switches. They all come with Gateron switches by default. Gateron are better IMO. The reds are much smoother than Cherry MX reds.

    Blue switches are very clicky and loud. Much prefer Browns, which I currently have on my K6 (which I love). Any chance of a deal on other colour switches, OP?

    The price is still quite high, IMO.
    I purchased the Keychron K2 (Gateron Brown) from MWave about 3 months ago when they had them for $79, and the K6 were $69.
    The Keychron keyboards are a delight to use, I generally leave my one plugged in via USB, but is easy to switch to bluetooth when required.

    Some downsides of this board.. there is no dedicated delete button, instead they have a dedicated light button which cannot be remapped. If that doesn't bother you then this is a great deal.

        Down to you really.. I personally use it a lot for deleting files and deleting forward when typing.
