Are any of their TV's any good? I'd hate to waste a good free shipping deal on anything light.

      No

Yes , Kogan is Bogan, save your money and spend it with almost anyone else.

    • There ok mate, people often get elitist when it comes to audio visual equipment.
If you have never cared about the quality of TV in the past then Kogan TV's will be fine for you.

Make sure youve got the right address on your order.

My partner put down her old address on an exercise bike bike and realised a minute after placing her order and sent a message to get it amended, their response was that they cant guarantee they can fix. Got q tracking number saying it will arrive today at the wrong address.

Also dont expect much support from their warranty either. Tv had an issue where it wouldn't turn off or on sometimes. Their solution was to do a software update which id already done.

Kogan first? Very fitting name. Kogan first, customers second

    • Lots of companies can't amend the address at a certain point of the order (it depends on how quickly it gets to that stage, sometimes it's minutes). For whatever reason I do not know.

At which point it must be redirected with the courier (once you get a tracking number).

The warehouse can process your order
        - quickly
        - cheaply
        - with flexibility

        Choose two.

Kogan are useless like that. They couldn't do a damn thing for me even though an item I ordered didn't get shipped for several months. When it finally did ship, I had to call up the courier to sort out the issue.

Thanks for the tip, never thought of this before

Just had to amend my address then. Was confirmed in a few minutes.

I don't think I hate a company more than I hate Kogan. Makes my blood boil thinking of all the consistent bad experiences I have endured

As a counterpoint - I've purchased from Kogan about 8 times in total, including several of their own-branded products. Every time, the purchase and delivery has been hassle-free and all of the products are still in use and working well.

I have heard some of the horror stories and I understand that things can go very wrong. I've never had to deal with warranty service or after-sales service of any kind. But I can say that I have had zero negative experiences so far, and will continue to consider Kogan as a good source of low-price electronics.

      • I too must be one of the lucky ones.
I've ordered maybe double what you have over the last couple of years. TV's, fans, mobile plans, and other electronics. My first purchase was a 6TB Mycloud storage. Even was a kogan first member for a year.
Had a kogan brand doorbell mess up on me, and they sent me a brand new one after a couple of emails troubleshooting. That's the only item I've had a problem with.
I'll still consider them when bargains come out.

      • Same, but I have only had one issue with an item and they simply sent a replacement item after providing photos and video of the faulty item in operation. Very hassle free.

      • Agreed

TBH I've ordered from them a bunch, never had any issues…

    • I bought a kogan free standing dish washer. It went faulty after sometimes I think about a year or so. The first time they sent someone down to repair. It was all good for a while. The second time i asked for a replacement they told me it can only be a replacement if it cannot be fixed. Thats fine to me. I got a call few days later from their outsourced company told me they were coming to pick up the dishwasher. No inspection needed. I took it out put on the porch they were happy. Loaded it and off they go. A brand new dishwasher came in less than a week. All warranty claim through their website.

There were few other times i forgot to activate the cheapish mobile plan. I rang them they either extend it or refund $5 if it cannot be extended.

My experience with their support has been good so far. Their dishwasher is cheap and works for me as I don’t use it often.
