I got mine from Lismore - they had 5 delivered today in a new shipment they said other stores will be getting new stock so may be worth ringing your local.

(also available in Ballina, Coffs Harbour, Glendale)

I have one. It's steady, hard to tip over. Heavy, not very fast.

Definitely ok for an adult, even an adult + small child or pet at the back.

The plugs can be slightly leaky but it'll take many days or weeks to actually sink.
Don't cram things into the storage, the opening will break.

If anything breaks, it can be fixed with plastic from a bottle & a blow torch.

    • which bottles do you use?

      • I used a laundry one. Look for a bottle with the number "2" with a triangle recycle circle around it, HDPE. I used a small creme brulee torch.

  • I was looking at them a few weeks ago. They had a few at BCF Auburn (but have since sold out). Opted to get a larger kayak second hand as these felt a bit on the small side. OK for calmer waters like lakes or estuaries, but probably a bit small for choppier waters.
