Excellent pricing for this model, obviously on clearance
Not a powerhouse but well powerful enough for the average user
Even less with discounted jbhifi gift cards
It will run android apps soon.
Great price. Worth it for display alone. Maybe put 13.5" in title.
Unfortunately it's the 13.5" one… would have jumped on it if it was the 15".
So would I!
You're in luck. These are still available here:
I just ordered a couple. They're in ad-hoc stores across the country, but if you call the main Good Guys phone number, they'll arrange to get one shipped to you.
I just got two at $1091 each, which included postage (shipped from two separate stores).
The storage is upgradeable too, if you have the tech finesse to open the top an insert a 2230 M.2 SSD.
How did you get them down to $1091?
They literally said "I can give it to you for this much" without me doing anything. 🤷
Why the 15"? Extra weight. This screen looks the same if you sit a few inches closer.
2256 x 1504 pixels. Do you prefer the wiser aspect of the 15"?
Both of them are great value IMHO.
I use mine for browsing, movies and I love the screen resolution, thinness and bright screen
So the bigger the better for me
I went down the laptop over pro route because I have zero use for detachable kb, I dislike the stand style plus the kb is more practical over quality for me
Screen will most likely crack if you jump on it
With these 13 and 15 inch versions, are the screen detachable to use as a tablet? can it flip 360 deg?
I was thinking of this vs the new ipad pro 12.9 M1
No… Look at Surface Pro. This is for those who want a laptop.
Thats a surface book.
Surface Laptop: classic laptop, non-detachable
Surface Pro/Go/X: tablet + detachable keyboard (optional)
Surface Book: laptop style, detachable screen/keyboard
Thank you all for your help!
128GB = the new 32GB
Surface or this one?
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/goto/632599 (now at $958 on Amazon with 16gb)
The fact these don't come with a micro SD is a deal breaker for me (same as for Laptop 4)
I'd love a slightly bigger screen than the surface pro but it's just so much more versatile and expandable than these
link doesn't work
looks like it's sold out
