    Coles limiting people to $400 worth of discount gift cards per week is very poor given their huge profits through a pandemic. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before the other half of the duopoly Woolies follows suit like they did with split of Wish gift cards to individual brands and reducing discount from 5% to 4%.

    Does anybody else find these Coles e-gift cards a complete PITA to redeem in person? 90% off the time, staff have to enter the code manually for me because it never scans. Woolies ones work so much better.

      Print the voucher using a decent laser printer and you won't have an issue

      Yep they suck, bit of an art to scan on the flybuys scanner but think I've got a bit of a technique

      Not terribly for me. Zoom into the PDF in Safari, set highest brightness, scan using the Flybuys scanner on the side (which can be fickle). Tilting phone back and forth and lifting up and down works well.

      I am using Stocard to store these and keep track of balance. Very easy to scan even on the older POS systems.

      Yep, the Coles scanners are crap. You can store woolies egifts on the app and it generates a barcode that scans first time, 100% of the time.

      Coles you have to keep an image of the barcode somewhere and manually keep track of the value remaining. Very poor.

      I use the Stocard app to store the barcode. Some stores have problems when scanning using the main scanner but the flybuys card scanners always work perfectly.
