        • Already have an Aeropress and now I don't have any beans, so actually just want the beans :|

          • @gmail92: Meanwhile I ordered an aeropress and milk jug, got a bunch of beans and hot chocolate…

Eofy lucky dip order system issit???

  • +2

Order I received was totally incorrect.

    • Same here. What I received was completely different. Emailed them but they haven't replied yet..

      • Did you get a reply yet?
Wondering how long I need to wait before I can submit a chargeback

        • +1

I got a reply via email. They said they're resending the items again.

  • They just cannot keep up with the orders and putting the right items. Gosh.

  • My order of 1Kg Roosevelt came in a bag that was open on one corner. There were coffee beans all around inside the parcel packaging. Did not expect this kind of lackluster packaging.

    • Is it those plastic bags?
Everytime I ordered from airjo they came in a cardboard box.

  • Mine is incorrect as well. Ordered 1KG whole bean, and they sent me 1KG ground coffee

  • They've sent me the wrong beans as well. Order 1kg of Sunset blend, they sent me 1kg of decaf. Can't get a hold of them by calling or emailing. They may got flooded by the orders, but it's not a good look to messed up so many orders.

  • +1

Would like to find out how they will resolve these mess up. Will avoid buying from this mob in the future.

  • Can you do a chargeback on credit card or PayPal refund if they don't respond say in a week's time? My order has not been shipped yet but they were very responsive when they sent me not so freshly roasted beans last time.

I wonder what could have gone wrong. They looked prepared for the online sale but perhaps ozbargain power was too much for them. Hope they bounce back from this.

    • Curious to know aswell. They messed up my order big time.

  • They sent me the wrong beans from one of the past sales, and order from this sale hasn't shipped yet. Not looking good for them.

  • Anyone had any luck with refund?

  • My Aeropress and filters finally arrived, now it's just the incorrect milk jug that they need to sort out…

  • +1

Well I ordered 1kg Sunset Blvd and got 2x250g of Prana Chai. Feel like I lost the lucky dip!

    • I really don't see how they can be so wrong. I ended up better off with my order, but now I have no beans.

      • -1

Its as if someone sorted a spreadsheet incorrectly without including all columns so all the orders are wrong. But I would assume they don't use spreadsheets for ordering system…..

      • If the missed a label, everything that gets sent out would be staggered by one right?

  • -1

Ordered 500g Guatemala wholebean got 250g Colombia ground.

These guys are taking the piss!

  • +2

Genuinely excited to see what I get, and when.. 😂

    • You might get lucky and get someone's golden ticket! haha!

  • Placed my order on Monday and received my order just then. It was good to see that all items were there. :)

I actually rang them earlier today to check the status on my order and Scott picked up the phone straight-away and was quite apologetic.

  • +1

Still weird there is no update here from the company themselves.

  • Received my order today and happy that it was all there as expected. Only disappointment is that the coffee roast date is still 10 days old where they promise to deliver beans immediately after roasting. This may not work for some folks who still have a little bit left from their current lot. Last time the beans I received were more than a month old.

  • Not sure how many people are in the same boat but I placed an order on Sunday 27 June for delayed shipping, paying via Paypal. Money taken from account pretty much instantly. I took a screenshot of my order as I didn't create an account. No confirmation email received. I emailed them on Tuesday 29 June to ask for confirmation they received the order. Have not heard from them yet. Will wait until 15 July dispatch to see if I receive my order that week otherwise looks like a dispute will need to be opened through Paypal.

Pretty disappointing experience so far to not hear anything from them and to see so many reports of issues as I was initially excited for what looked like a good deal. Understand that they may have been inundated with orders and are too busy (power of Ozb!) but to be honest they should of either capped the orders or at least come on here to post one comment to let us know they've heard/seen us and are working hard to resolve all the issues etc (not expecting individualised email responses) rather than just go with radio silence. I'm not sure after this experience that I'd ever try them again even on a similar deal unless the coffee blows me away more than other roasters or they managed to resolve this issue with some communication to explain what has been going on and fix up everyone's situation who got wrong orders etc.

    • UPDATE: Just received confirmation email from Inglewood today (6 July at 8:56pm) so maybe they were just super backlogged and heard us!

  • Received my 1kg Sunset Blvd and milk jar today, roast date 02/07

  • Received my 1kg Sunset Blvd today 2/7 roast date. Must have gotten lucky

  • +1

I am annoyed with them now. When I asked about the roast date on my beans - they recommended that I freeze my beans. WTF - I would order from the roaster directly to freeze my beans because they mailed a 10 day old batch instead of a fresher lot. If it was a 500gm order it makes sense and reasonable to consume the coffee before it loses its freshness. I am sure they are bean sellers who make sure they package beans close to roast day before delivery and not try to dump old stock on paying customers.

  • Place two orders. One was for immediate dispatch and the second for delayed shipping. The first hasn’t shipped still… At this rate they’ll likely hit close together…

Their web site may have a new coat of paint but they seem just as all over the place as they always were. They mean well but they’ll lose customers with the antics described in the comments this thread.

  • I've just gotten an email letting me know they're done with my order and it's gone to a shipping partner…. and will be sent on the 15th as I asked for delayed delivery. Which is a bit shit - I asked for delayed delivery so that we would get fresh beans when we needed them, not so I could save cupboard space.

Don't be too disheartened. I received notification that my order was with Australia Post on 2/7 but it didn't update that it had been picked up until 5/7, I received my order this morning and one bag has a roast date of of 2/7 the other 5/7. So either the roast date is wrong or Inglewood are scanning bags to go out on a certain day and they pack before pick up.

My beans were shipped on the 2nd and once collected by Australia Post, haven't moved from Somerton,Vic since then. Just got an Aus Post email telling me they're delayed until the 15th.

    Bugger

Same problem here. Shipped on 2 July, still stuck in Melbourne, but at least mine’s finally been “processed” this afternoon in north Melbourne. Updated delivery estimate of 8-12 Jul, from originally quoted 5-7 Jul. Not looking forward to seeing what’s in my lucky dip, given I ordered a kilo of single origin…

Luckily, I also had a kilo of Lime Blue coming via CouriersPlease from Melbourne. Picked up 5 Jul, arrived today, two days later.

Unless the Inglewood beans are out of this world, I’ll be shopping elsewhere next time.

  • STILL haven’t heard from them.

  • +1

I received 10 text messages from a courier service Xpress to you in a five minute period. Spammed me repeatedly from different mobile numbers!

I am not going to click any of them but the URL looks to include an abbreviation of Inglewood so I think that’s my first order shipping.

Definitely not the smoothest e-commerce experience! 🤣

    • Sounds like a scam I've had beans delivered by Inglewood twice. Both times it was by Auspost. Sounds like it's just a coincidence you got these messages. Scammers rely on it

      • I have had my orders always delivered by Xpress.

        • My mistake then, must vary by state or city. I'm located in Brisbane

My feelings are bittersweet…just like their coffee

Won one of the Golden Tickets, but lucked out by getting prize #7 (the merch pack). Don’t really want to walk around advertising a coffee company.

My first order only had 4 boxes of filter papers, despite ordering 20 boxes.

Waiting for my delayed shipping order, but by the sounds of it I could get anything in that!

  • Goneski - OP do you have a new promo this month? time to order more coffee :)

    • +1

You can use GOLD30 to get 30% off

  • Ordered 30th, Auspost picked up 2nd and ETA 12th. Almost 2 weeks when I'll receive them, not sure if I'll order again even at this discount.

    • +1

That's totally AusPosts issue though - not Inglewood.

      • -1

I didn't say it was their issue specifically however if they choose to use Auspost and Auspost takes this long, it is something to take into consideration.

        • -1

No, it will be the Auspost service they choose for their free shipping.

There are plenty of roasters that use Auspost or subsidiary and who turn around orders in two to three business days (also with free shipping).

  • Got my bag today

  • +2

Did not honor delayed till 15th of July shipment. Received too early. If I knew it arrived 10 days earlier, I would not bought it. Another BS from Inglewood, never again.

  • -3

    Hi Ozbargain Hunters,

The response to our EOFY sale has been incredible.

The final package left the roastery last week and is on the way to you now if you haven’t already received it.

For those of you that selected delayed shipping, your order will leave the roastery freshly roasted later this week.

If there were any issues with your order, please email us at [email protected], and we will be in contact as soon as possible.

I received this today on the 15th. Shipping label says send on 12th but roast day on bag is 13th.

    • +3

Yeah, I often wondered how many of these "fresh roasted coffee" companies lie about the roast date. For all we know these beans may have been roasted two weeks ago.

      • Mine arrived today. Roast date also 13th July.

        • Got my beans with the same date and with other items missing.

        • +2

In the interest of accuracy and fairness, relating to my earlier comments, tried the beans this morning (Roosevelt) and I can confirm they are fresh.

  • Assuming that the roasting date is correct, my orders came through perfectly. Immediate post for a bag of decaf came as expected, and second bag of sunset Blvd arrived today.

  • I received both of my items yesterday and they had a roast date of the 9th which I am happy with.

  • Mine arrived today and I am at WA. I understand the lockdown situation tho.
Curious thing is that the sticker shows the rostered day was 3, two said roasted at 9th and one covered that up is saying 13th. Not sure if it has really roastered ar 13th.
    No won the ticket fyi
