Mobicity.com.au Now Has FREE Shipping for Anything over $100

161

I just got an email from http://www.mobicity.com.au saying that all their stock will be shipped across Australia for FREE as long as the order is greater than $100.

This can generate some amazing bargains as mobicity has always had decent prices but killer postage.

I only know that I can not get Galaxy Nexus (Aus stock) for $649 delivered including extended warranty + insurance.

I'm sure there are lots more on there.

Aargh!! I paid $30 for shipping 2 days ago! Good deal, their prices are good.

  • I dont see any good deals there on samsung latest phones. Their prices are similar to Mobileciti but Mobileciti's stock is Oz stock which comes with 2 years Samsung warranty. For grey import stock with 12 month distributor warranty, DWI's prices are much better.

Umm, the phone I used in my example comes with 2 years warranty standard. I would think that implies that the phone is Aus stock.

The phone in my example is $649 delivered. From mobileciti.com.au its $701.80. Thats $50 cheaper at this posts site. Don't make comments without checking first.

      —edit—
Ok, after doing research, their phones are not Aus stock. But the warranty is still from Aus for 2 years. Plus there is phone replacement if the repair takes longer than 30 days turn around.

    Prices seem cheaper elsewhere.

Static Ice is your friends, people. Anyway, for those who are too lazy to check for themselves:

      Samsung Galaxy Note
MobiCity: Sale Price: $739.00 (12 months Australian Warranty)
Becextech: Sale Pric: $664.00 (12 months Australian Warranty)
      http://www.becextech.com.au/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=2…

I can't be bothered to check for all Samsung models, so just do a quick search on staticice.com.au

Yes, this deal specifically is about the free shipping. I have seen many sites (examples will come later when I have more time to find them again) where the price of the phone advertised, e.g. on staticice.com, is useless when the postage+compulsory shipping insurance.

E.g. Becextech sell the Galaxy Nexus for $638.50 (with 2 year warranty) then they add another $74.95 for the shipping cost. So this works out about $60 then the phone given in my example.

    Generally I've found them overpriced.
