how long does it take to sign up for LatitudePay?

    • You can do it online.
Click the link, above, then Learn More on the HN Website.

    • Latitude Pay unlike Afterpay runs credit checks during application, just like a credit card

      U try getting a 2TB ssd then

    • +2

I use it for mass storage for media. Works great, fast enough for what I need, and significantly cheaper than SSDs - especially with deals like this.

    • +3

HDD's aren't an issue for slow offline storage.

      • +1

That's right but I wouldn't say it's slow. Still faster than your home internet connection unless you have 1Gb internet then touche

No, we're all using 500TB memory chip implants under our wrist these days smh

    • If you find the time to comment they must be.

No worth dealing with the return problems with Harvey if it is a a dud. Just my experience.

      I second that

      Did you say hardly normal

    • They're not exactly going to give money back unless they absolutely have to. That comes straight from Gerry.

This is why everyone needs to be 100% well versed in ACL. If you know your stuff and you stand up to them with legal facts you'll find more of them will back down since you've come in armed with knowledge about your legal rights.

That's not to say that all HN employee's will be like this. HN sure has their fair share of d!cks working for them, but you can always Karen your way to the manager. That's always fun! ;-)

        • +1

Tried that. The manager is even a bigger Karen.

        • +1

Well that's the thing and exactly what I did to get a refund on an item that was DOA when I got home. They will tell you about ACL themselves but twist it so that It's always everyone else's responsiblity and liability though. According to HN it's always the manufacturer or consumers fault, never them.
I ended up having to threaten with the ombudsman for them to finally refund me after weeks of their BS for a simple return/refund for a brand new DOA item.

We shouldn't have to jump through these hoops. It's not worth it. Better off spending the extra $20 and getting it from Officeworks.

          • +1

@Freezies: Yup, that's the best thing to do. Go in in there armed with print outs and throw the ombudsman at them. We shouldn't have to do that though, I agree. This is why I will only purchase from HN on very rare (and extremely discounted) occasions.

LatitudePay can't verify my ID. Took 45min provided all my ID to equifax site, it said take up to 5 working days. Good way to waste time.

It charges for postage and there is no option to pay by latitude pay

Would rather pay $20 extra elsewhere than give money to Harvey Norman
