      If you include "off" as a mode that's 7, and that makes 49 unique permutations with 2 lights. So compared to some others I think they're quite conservative in their description.

  Just a bit of feedback these are terrible at holding charge, had to bin it after about 5 charges/uses.

    Possibly not a lie, my surface rear lights would have to be 5 years old now and pre covid i used them 6 hours a week easily and charge it weekly out of habit. NFI how long it would actually last in ideal conditions.
